Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

How come I asked BB and they said they don't carry SIMs for Sprint? Is every BB different? I even went to the Sprint store and they didn't carry the right SIM (SIMGLW416Q)...they only carried SIMOLW506TC

Also what SIM did you get (in reference to the sim model version...not size (i know its nano)?
It was the iPhone model.

I had activated one line under this promotion. My credit was approved for 5 lines.

Now, if I want to add a second line (port in a number and BYOD) later on in Aug-2017, will I be able to get same promotion free for a year?

I asked a rep and she said yes. I can add lines under this promo, as I have already got this plan and is valid till 31-Jul2018. But I am not sure if the CSR knows it well.

Is this offer ending on 30-Jun-2017, or can we get additional lines next month as well?

Hello,

Yes, supposedly you can add lines to your free plan til July 31, 2018. However, it is also possible that Telesales put your other line on a different plan. Wink
Searched but still not sure about a clear answer.

Does anyone know the deadline of adding a line for the free plan once you have an account? Is it June-30-2017, or July-31-2018?

Yes, every BB is different, they dont clone the same sale employee to work in different store so your service level really depend on how eager the employee willing to sell you a $5 SIM.

The Sprint fine print said add line is July, but like anything is life it can be changed if they decide to end early

Add a Line: Add a line at any time up to the max. number of lines & get promotional pricing until 7/31/2018. Add a Line: Add a line at any time with port-in from postpaid carrier and Bring Your Own Eligible Phone up to the max. number of lines & get promotional pricing until 7/31/2018

Ok finally the right plan is on my account. Originally I did the web offer but had to call in for my credit check. I called the number on the wiki. My Sim card was delivered Tuesday I called the number on the paper to activate everything went smooth was told I was approved and had received the offer. I thought I was done when I went to check my account online It said I had the 2 gb plan for 45 dollars. I called the number on the wiki was told the rep had put me on a temporary account but everything was fineI had the plan. This was Tuesday what I did was call everyday to ask what the update was and when it was going to be fixed. Finally today received the email checked my account and have the unlimited plan. My advice is call escalate to the manager until it's changed it took 7 days for mine. In case anyone is stuck with a different plan FYI only call the number on the wiki. Sprint regular customer service representative have no idea what is going on and will screw you up.
Or you could have stopped after the first call and you would have had the same outcome. Like I and others have done.

I don't understand the attitude that they must be lying to me that we see so often in this thread.

Seriously how could you be so sure .Do You work for sprint have you done this plan before if not just skip my comment. I'm glad you're so trusting in a company who has a horrible reputation. You know what I don't understand why people comment on here when they have nothing to contribute.

Hi, not OP:

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but isnt the SIMOLW506TC a universal sim and might work in any previously unlocked phone (purchased unlocked like the MOTO G4 Play). Right? According to ting, if you do not use that sim, then the 416Q only works on the following devices:
HTC Bolt
LG X Power
LG V20
LG Tribute HD
Samsung Galaxy S8

No sprint near me has the SIMGLW416Q sim either but Best Buy did accidentally sell me this sim when I really wanted one for the moto g4 play (SIMGLW236C). Unfortunately I took it back on Saturday for a refund.

That said, one of my local sprint stores had the SIMOLW506TC sim one but would not sell it to me unless I set up the account with them to get the commision. My other sprint store did not have any sims for android phones, but were giving the iphone sims out free. lol

Quick question. I know we had discussion on this but trying to get clarity. I have 4 lines which I activated few days back. I want to add 5 the line. If I have extra SIM can I do it online or should I call them and hoping it will be free line to. I will port in but checking if we have to get Sprint ship the sim or if we can use existing one we have. Any one tried this route ?

It is just easier to have chat do it and if they can't, call it in. They can get you taken care of.

Hello,

You can use your own sim if you have one. To add extra line to your existing Sprint account, you need to call that 866 dedicated line. They are familiar with Unlimited BYOD.

I think the corporate ones sell. I went to one but they only have the universal SIM which is the SIMOLW506TC. It works for most phone but not the S8.

Yeah...don't look like sprint stores carry the SIMGLW416Q. Had I known about this, probably would have had samsung ship me one with the S8 deal but many aren't getting their SIMs shipped yet so probably would still have to buy it from Sprint.com for this deal. Went ahead with buying it online....crossing fingers for this deal.

I have a Motorola G4 that was on RP, switched to Ting. I deactivated/deleted on Ting. Fails the checker with "Ineligible, this phone does not qualify for this offer." Called Sprint, they said the phone qualifies, but the number doesn't?

Is there anything I can do?

I dont see you have contribute much either, you just keep telling people the company you are company is lying, but I have no idea what you have done during your phone conversation on Sprint, maybe it your mistake and maybe it their mistake, none of us will ever know.
If you think Sprint has such a bad reputation, why sign up for the plan then? I wont sign up for any company which have a shady or bad reputation which we dont trust. I will just cancel the account Would you do that, I guess notLMAO

It could be someone at Sprint made a mistake, but then they fix it right, so what more do you want by keep saying they are lying. Have you ever never make mistake during work, what happen if everyone assume you are purposely make mistake and what will you feel?

Your attitude is the problem not Sprint and I am happy with my dealing with them.

Contribute to the thread mean answering others question, ranting your problem is NOT contributing
