Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

So I bought an unlocked iPhone 7 plus from apple but it says it is ineligible. If I use a different imei from an old phone I have that is eligible if I put that sim into my iPhone 7 plus will it still work? Or is imei some how tied to the SIM card? Thanks will rep
Have you fixed your issue yet? I'm ordering 2 unlocked iPhone 7 from apple.com. Will pick them up on wednesday. Did you try go to Ting.com and check your meid to see it passed or not?

The IMEI is absolutely tied to the SIM card on Sprint. When you bought the unlocked iPhone 7+ from Apple, do you know if it was the Intel version?

If it's not the Intel version, you can contact your local corporate Sprint store and ask them if they have access to the DNA tool. This is a tool that Sprint corporate stores can use to add foreign iPhones (think Unlocked, Verizon 6/6S/7, AT&T 6/6S, Tmo 6/6S) to the whitelist if they are SIM unlocked. If your local store says they don't know what that is or don't have access, move on to another corporate store in your area.

For reference, and because it always comes up, DNA cannot currently be used to add anything other than iPhones to the database. It cannot add your U-ROM flashed S7E from Verizon.

Another message I received and cannot answer because of the message limitation, regarding #3976.

On #3: You're saying there is some additional phone model flag on Sprint's side, in addition to this PLBL/SPCS flag, yes?
Yes. There's a thing called the FED, or Financial Eligibility Date. It's a flag I don't have access to change, but I can see. You can check if there's a FED flag using ting's checker at ting.com/byod, and if it's clear there, then there's not likely to be a FED flag for that phone, but again, YMMV. Sprint also limits by SKU, and Boost phones give themselves away by internal Sprint SKU.

The long and short of it is, if it started on Boost, there's very little chance Sprint's going to allow it until you've met the unlock requirements.

I think I finally got the iPhone activated, they said it will be ported at midnight tonight. I had some issues but they say my account is set up and working now. I guess I'll know at midnight but they confirmed it's all set up and number is ready to port.

I'm adding another line but need a phone for it, so I ordered the G4 Play from amazon just to get it going until I phone shop. I went ahead and ordered in case they sell out, it already shipped and will be here tomorrow.

Could someone confirm this is the correct one?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

Like I said, I'll probably swap later but I need the 2nd line set up ASAP, this will work right? I want a 3rd line but I don't think I can get another phone in time, I'll be happy with 2 lines. Smilie

Edit: I already picked up the 2nd sim at Sprint store today

Cool so im ready, NO local Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens or 7-11 sell these starter sim cards. Only way to get one asap was going directly to a T-Mobile store. $23 fkn bucks for a sim i possibly wont ever use. Its ok tho its for the greater good. T-Mobile rep help activate the sim, created a pin (one i choose). Comes with $7 worth of calling, just enough for me do this thing to work. Question tho, Is it better to call the number posted on the wiki or do it online. Kinda scare if i receive an error like some and its so close to deadline.

When the Ting BYOD indicates "Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. Sprint says there's an unpaid balance associated with it." Is it 100% caused by the FED flag or could it also cause by unpaid bills (outstanding balance) from a wireless provider?

Can't find a tmobile sim card anywhere locally so I'm going to get it from amazon to go from cricket to TM.

Does sprint ask for all the port in information immediately if I decided to go through the credit check and order sprint sim?

Try again or call Sprint. They probably just want to verify you are who you said you are if you have reasonably credit score. I don't know what is the cutoff score, but I would assume 600 and above, depending on which score they look at. On my wife's account, they pulled from Experian.
