Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Is the google voice method still working, and does your email address tied to google voice need to match your actual name that you're applying for sprint service?

Ok I did the web offer but had to call in for my credit check since I not so stellar credit. I called the number on the wiki. Sprint rep had to manual create my account. I had my 3 hour activated prepaid T-Mobile sim card, account number and pin ready. I also had a Sprint sim card from an old Sprint phone I had. He asked which company was the number under and if it was prepaid or postpaid. I froze for a min, but then answered truthfully, I said T-Mobile prepaid. Fast forward, time for another credit check, I said fine. There was a problem since I had just closed an account with them six months ago but then got settled after they removed the old account. Hooray, so I thought, credit department cleared and now to finish the process. Rep asked for new phones IMEI and ICCID (sim card), IMEI passed but ICCID sim card was not compatible, rep said that for me to complete the process I had to buy a new sim card. I tripled checked all numbers and he reaped and supposedly sim card was no good for my phone. He said I could either purchase one with him and wait till it arrives to finish the process which would take a couple more days or go to a Sprint store and buy one then he would go ahead and call back the next day to complete the process. I said fk that Sprint store was 10 mins away and if you want my business you will stay on the line. 15 mins passed by got my new Sprint sim card which btw was $11 fkn dollars even after telling the store rep, online rep said it was 2 or 3 bucks which he only said to buy online or ask for a credit but store was $11. FINE, bought the fkn sim since I needed it, and store rep also confirmed that it had to be a BYOD sim card they carried for specific devices. Phone rep got the new sim card ICCID went thru, rep also told me that he needed to enroll me to autopay and ebill, I said ok even better I wont have to do it online or something. He finished then transferred me to porting dept to make sure phone was working. A couple tries and phone calls to make it work but connected fine in the end. Spent almost an entire hr and spent $30+ just on sim cards just today but well worth it. My Sprint account is fresh new and see the following;

Unlimited - Bring Your Phone

Plan includes

Unlimited - Bring Your Phone
Unlimited Talk, Text and Data.
$5/line/mo up to 5 lines. (Free with AutoPay until 7/31/18)
10GB Mobile Hotspot.
International Text from US
Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.
Savings until 7/31/18; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $30/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay

Monthly cost
$5.00

Gonna keep an eye for those $5 monthly cost, im pretty sure its because the account is new and will adjust when first bill shows up, if not best believe they will receive another phone call asking for refund or credit, shit lol.

Oh yeaa after rep finished and before he transferred me to the porting dept, I asked if this promo was a 2 year contract or something, he placed me on hold for several minutes and came back and told me it was a BYOD plan, since I already owned my phone there was no 2 year contract, he was only able to see the 1 year free unlimited then $60 plus taxes for the line. look around

What plan did you purchase from T-Mobile? And why not say postpaid, will they know the difference?

Even with Sprint's service being offered free for a year, I'm not even sure if it is worth it for me to stay. I am in a major metro area (less than 15 mins away from Disneyland) but my house is pretty much a dead zone for all the carriers. Out of all the major carriers, Sprint is the absolute worse. I have to be right by a window just to barely get 1 bar of 3G service. Forget 1x , LTE, or LTE+ I'm barely getting 3G! I can't even run a speed test without running into problems but when I can, my speed is 118ms ping, 1.20 Mbps down, 5 kbps up. Sprint's network is an absolute joke.
Request the Sprint Magic Box if it's available in your area. Sprint uses high frequency signals, therefore very poor signals penetration inside building. The Magic Box basically sucks the signals from the outdoor and blows them into your house so everyone gets happy ending inside the house. See below Big Grin

I've already put in a request, but as I understand it I don't know how much this device will really help since I get poor reception outside of my house too.

Not sure wtf it is but I cant seem to reply to ppls quote browser or mobile smh. But to Caipirinha I just followed https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=101468520&postcount=3336

Unfortunately for me, I couldn't find T-Mobile sim card anywhere, heck not even on craigslist so I had to go directly to my closest T-Mobile store to get one asap, didn't want to chance getting one late if I ordered online. Basically got a pay as you go T-Mobile $3 plan, I had the T-Mobile rep "activate" the sim so it can generate a number but not to fund the account. Anyways to answer the question, I asked the Sprint rep if it matters if its postpaid or prepaid since he initally asked me during setting my account and he said that if theres porting issues that the porting dept will handled it, not sure what he meant by that since everything turn out good on my end in the end. Also I have not so great credit so got surprise I got approved too.

If you get poor signal outside the house, the Magic Box probably won't help much. You have to request the small cell/router that uses your internet connection to get Sprint signal inside the house unfortunately.

Looks like the Magic Box is available to business customers. Never able to get the Submit button to become active with a Personal Account button pressed.

If you have wifi at home, just enable wifi calling. That's what I did myself.

If you have a phone can work in sprint, you will basically take advantage of this deal.
What I did is using the google voice number, pay $3 to google to unlock it.
If you phone is eligible online, you can sign it up online. If not, call them to create a ticket and wait 24 hrs. It should became eligible after that.
My second line is port from Tello to google, spend $20. Phone is ineligible, but work out after the tickets. They are able to add phone to my account for this offer.
Total should take less than 2 hr of calling. I'm really impressed with the phone rep, no need to wait for long time and they are able to help. I know they are from other countries, but their accent is easier for me to understand. My previous experience with att is 30-60 min wait time on average.
