Gonna keep an eye for those $5 monthly cost, im pretty sure its because the account is new and will adjust when first bill shows up, if not best believe they will receive another phone call asking for refund or credit, shit lol.
Oh yeaa after rep finished and before he transferred me to the porting dept, I asked if this promo was a 2 year contract or something, he placed me on hold for several minutes and came back and told me it was a BYOD plan, since I already owned my phone there was no 2 year contract, he was only able to see the 1 year free unlimited then $60 plus taxes for the line.
What plan did you purchase from T-Mobile? And why not say postpaid, will they know the difference?

Unfortunately for me, I couldn't find T-Mobile sim card anywhere, heck not even on craigslist so I had to go directly to my closest T-Mobile store to get one asap, didn't want to chance getting one late if I ordered online. Basically got a pay as you go T-Mobile $3 plan, I had the T-Mobile rep "activate" the sim so it can generate a number but not to fund the account. Anyways to answer the question, I asked the Sprint rep if it matters if its postpaid or prepaid since he initally asked me during setting my account and he said that if theres porting issues that the porting dept will handled it, not sure what he meant by that since everything turn out good on my end in the end. Also I have not so great credit so got surprise I got approved too.

What I did is using the google voice number, pay $3 to google to unlock it.
If you phone is eligible online, you can sign it up online. If not, call them to create a ticket and wait 24 hrs. It should became eligible after that.
My second line is port from Tello to google, spend $20. Phone is ineligible, but work out after the tickets. They are able to add phone to my account for this offer.
Total should take less than 2 hr of calling. I'm really impressed with the phone rep, no need to wait for long time and they are able to help. I know they are from other countries, but their accent is easier for me to understand. My previous experience with att is 30-60 min wait time on average.
Also I have Nexus 5 which I used on ringplus 1 year back. It said the phone is not eligible. Do I need to call some.number to make it eligible?
