Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

When the Ting BYOD indicates "Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. Sprint says there's an unpaid balance associated with it." Is it 100% caused by the FED flag or could it also cause by unpaid bills (outstanding balance) from a wireless provider?
It could be either, but it's usually the FED flag. I can't see the unpaid balance flag. Only Sprint can see that. The system just returns "This device is not financially eligible".

Just ported from Ultra to Sprint. The sprint reps are iditos. I was on a call for like an hour with a rep and she kept saying that she is getting error saying my ultra number is inactive. she had entered my address wrong even after multiple repeats. Got irritated, disconnected and called again. the next guy was helpful. clarified all the details and gave me the order number in 10 mins. Now I have the order number so how to I login to my sprint account? should I create a new profile?

How long does it take it take for port? I still have the network on my ultra sim.
Hmm wondering are you on the right thing/plan, because typically after they setup the account they will transfer over to porting dept and make sure your port is done before they end the call. I called twice once to setup the account and once to add line and both time they make sure the port is done before they let me hang up.

Now I am wondering whether your "helpful" guy is being helpful and just put you on anything to get rid of you because there is an actual problem with porting over your Ultra account, and you are too impatient to resolve it.

I'm waiting on a reimbursement from T-Mobile
You can always pay $10 for a sim get a prepaid account from T-Mobile/Att and other carriers and open your account before the deadline and then port over T-Mobile line later, no point to wait since the deal is ending soon.

Actually the porting is successful. I got an email to login and now my plan shows as "Unlimited Bring your own device".

Is this the correct plan?

Thanks for the information provided throughout this thread!

I pm'd you here, but understand you can't reply. About how long before the IMEIs you flip from prepaid generally become available to Sprint postpaid?

Short summary of my experience: Bought new S8 from samsung. Bought a sim at Walmart for ATT GoPhone. Created a new number. Then, I ported from Fi to ATT. This all took about 2 hours after I got my phone. Called Sprint, had to order newer sim. Upon receiving it, Sprint actually called me back to finish the process. No problems porting from ATT to Sprint.

Has anyone been able to get their Nexus 6p added to Sprint's db? From other posts it seems like there is a way from Sprint to add them and allow activation but it seems to take days. I'd like to take advantage of this deal and add a 2nd line.
What did you use as an account number? Or do you need to just give Sprint the AT&T phone number and the pin?

Also, can you PM me that list you sent me here on Reddit? I need to reply in detail for some of them, and I already used my 2 messages this 6 hours.

Anyone who has had sprint in the past and has already signed up for this deal... Did you use your old login on sprint.com rather than set up a new one? I'm wondering if that will screw things up somehow.

Thanks OP, was able to port to Sprint in under 5 minutes after placing order last night. Got the sprint SIM from Apple Store. The sim that sprint is yet to ship from online order will be used for another line
