yes i think that's exactly what i did before...on a different deal. but this time i don't know why, i partly activated my t mobile sim online, and it asked me to do a minimum of $10. afterwards i called t mobile rep to ask for my account number and pin after i put in the $10 credit card payment to fund my account. guess i was too excited getting this sprint 1 year free promo...hehe...

I have ordered a phone, but it is arriving on the 30th. Can I order the sim ahead of time and then activate on the 30th? Would the deal still apply?

All set. I ported 5 lines over yesterday, using the Moto G4 Play phones that were on sale. Checked the account and everything is properly set up. The service is bad at all. Tested in several areas and while driving. No signal loss. I'm in Maryland and Sprint used to be really bad here. Goodl luck to anyone that's still signing up for the promotion!

Ported a GV number. Did the activation at about 6pm yesterday. As of Noon it was still not ported even though GV showed they approved it.

Called the number in the Wiki 888-876-8381, rep took my info, said it was done and asked me to wait 10 minutes and turn the phone on.

Worked perfect.

Ported a GV number that was $3 onto a $75 Galaxy S7 (owner thought it was blacklisted, wasn't). Speeds are all over the place. 1 mbps in one spot, 50 feet away 40 mbps.

I would call the number associated with the promo and ask a rep. That rep can even schedule a call back time with you, so you get the same person handling everything for you and making the process nice and easy.

Anyone figure out why a phone like Nexus 5 only works coming from ATT & Verizon when the US Nexus 5 phones are all the same? Sure enough, my Nexus 5 with a Tmobile SIM was claimed to be unusable. Would really like to keep the same number, but getting near the end of the promo to try porting the number around multiple times. Would I likely have more luck calling the promo line?

I see that but nothing seems to work for the moment. Phone number is still needing porting...account number is not known...IMEI is not working at the moment.

I called the number and the rep said that the deal has been extended, though he couldn't tell me for how long it is extended. Have other people heard the same?
