Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

We're sorry. This information doesn't match our records. Please double-check your information and try again.

I think I got that same message when trying to activate with the ordered sim cards. I just re-entered the info again and worked the 2nd or 3rd time

Anyone able to get galaxy S8+ verizon to work? Is it because this version has different hardware as the "special edition" directly from samsung?

Thanks

I know this might be asked before, I went through a lot of pages but could not find the info.

Does anyone use iphone 7 which is unlocked on t-mobile with this offer. I checked mine
but it says ineligible online, I called sprint twice and they said ineligible. However I tried my friend's Sprint SIM which shows Sprint network. I do not want to open account and then raise a clickit ticket since it would leave me without a working phone and hard pull.
Also can i try adding it as additional line on already existing account. Would that help?

Have one question, guys! Can I switch out my devices now and not get kicked out of the free year plan? Is the term and condition really strict on this? I have seen in this thread people suggesting switching device on the first/initial line? Is it really allowed technically?

There is also a Sprint Executive CS number (866-561-0035) that was shared on sprintusers.com many years ago. Not sure if that number still works. Good luck.
do you think either of them could help me with a Sprint phone I cant activate because they say its already active? Someone likely stole/cloned my IMEI. Sprint CS in store or on phone doesnt care at all.

You can do it through your sprint online account, there is an option. My Sprint>Activate a device. There you will specify the device to deactivate and new device details. I guess it takes like 48 hours, I am not sure on this part.

Does your current number area code from somewhere sprint has no service? My GF has a Montana area code and sprint said they can't port her iPhone 6s

It is more likely a Sprint Database glitch.
Have you tried turning your phone on to see if you actually have service?
What motivation would someone have to "clone" your IMEI for an inactive device?

I was able to get my Samsung Galaxy S4 (originally a Sprint phone) to work with this deal.
This is how I did it.
1. Called the Sprint phone number in the wiki. They originally told me my phone was ineligible.
2.Next they sent me to a tech I was told the phone was ineligible because the phone was PLBL (third part MVNO) Sprint said they had no way to change the phone to SPSC to work on the Sprint network. They said it would require flashing the phone.
3. I called Ting the last carrier the phone was registered to and asked them to switch the designation from PLBL to SPSC. This was completed in 30 seconds. No flashing required.
4. I called back Sprint and again asked them to activate the phone. Again they first told me the phone was ineligible. I told the rep to ask a supervisor too override it. This time when they checked they said my phone was eligible.
5. They asked if I had a SIM Card. I gave them the ICCID number of the orignal ( 4 year old ) Sprint Sim the phone came with. This Worked! I did not have to buy a new sim.
6. Next i was registering my phone for the BYOD free 1 year account. I ported out my google voice number. Be certain to unlock it first. The account number is your phone number.
7. After getting off the phone I called the porting phone number in the wiki to complete the port. Bingo it was working, free service for 1 year.
8. This entire process was complete in about 2 hours and 30 minutes from initial call to having free service. Good Luck!

Nice job! Does that mean you ported out with the S4 itself? Was the phonr active? Didn't use any of the phones on the list? I have am S4 currently active on Ting I'd love to port over as I don't have any phones on the list

no service. Store told me someone in Ohio is using my IMEI. If someone had a blacklisted device and they cloned my IMEI to it, they could then activate the device on networks it had been blacklisted from.

I was curious to know if there was a specific cut off time for signing up tomorrow, so I opened a chat and was told that this deal has been extended for another month.
Jessica: Hi, I'm a Sprint sales specialist. Would you like any help today?
You: Hi I see that the free line for a year promotion ends on june 30th, I was wondering if that was at the end of the day.
Jessica: Please hold, we will be with you shortly.
You: ?
Jessica: Thank you for your patience.
Jessica: I would be more than happy to help you with the offer details.
Jessica: Please do not worry, the offer has been extended to 30th July 2017.
You: Oh really, I didn't know that. That's great news, thank you!
Jessica: Absolutely!
Jessica: :-)
Jessica: Is there anything else should I do to make this chat experience better for you?
You: That's all wanted to know, thank you again, bye!

I was also told that it would be extended until the end of July. And that the website will be updated to reflect the new end date of the offer.
