Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I didn't get a box since it was a replacement they gave me for my broken phone.

Its Model A1549 NG4W2LL/A

My SIM is Part Number SIMOLW506C
That part number shows that it's a refurbished iP6, but it should work. The IMEI must be paired correctly to the SIM ICCID before you can activate and use it on the Sprint network.
Quote from PeterH1461 :
This plan is unlimited data. Is there any throttle info after certain amount of use?
The load balancers on the Sprint network do not throttle, they deprioritize your line when you have used more than 23 GB of data each billing cycle and when the network is congested.
Quote from newfury :
send a message to LiterallyUnlimited on reddit, he can help you add the IMEI to sprint data base
He said in a post (see below) that he cannot add the IMEI because he has no access to the DNA2. He can only change the PLBL flag to SPCS; so to add the IMEI, you have to call Sprint.

Does anybody know how to get LTE working on Iphone 6 - 64GB ATT model.

Tried ##UPDATE# multiple times without any luck. Still having the same 3G speeds.

Any help is much appreciated
Could be a lot of reasons. Reply back with the detailed history of your account and phone if it has been more than 24 hours and you still cannot get LTE.
Quote from zorbas1 :
2.Next they sent me to a tech I was told the phone was ineligible because the phone was PLBL (third part MVNO) Sprint said they had no way to change the phone to SPSC to work on the Sprint network. They said it would require flashing the phone.
That is not true. I wish they have more proper training.
Quote from midland69 :
recieved sim card went to sprint.com/activatenow entered details and got error message did anyone recieve this message ?

We're sorry. This information doesn't match our records. Please double-check your information and try again.
The website is glitchy. It could also due to the activation system is busy where a lot of people are trying to activate. Try again later.
Quote from clarkkent733 :
trying to change the flag on my phone to SPCS...called, after long wait was told they won't do it. sent a message to literallyunlimited on reddit already. time is running out...anyone have any suggestions?
LiterallyUnlimited said that he is off today and tomorrow (probably to see his lady friend(s) Big Grin Keep calling Sprint until you get someone who knows how to do it. Most of the reps are clueless, probably due to lack of training, so be nice with them. We are all loving humans.
Quote from jcvu :
Anyone able to get galaxy S8+ verizon to work? Is it because this version has different hardware as the "special edition" directly from samsung?

Thanks
Yes. Hardware is identical. You have to flash the firmware to XAA or SPR. You can mix and match the firmware files (XAA/XAA/SPR, XAA/SPR/SPR, etc.). If you are an advanced/experienced user, search for my posts. May take some time to add the IMEI, so use another phone or dummy IMEI to secure the free line(s) before the offer expires. You can swap/switch device later at any time.
Quote from hinny :
Oh. Wow. Is this different from the already existing 300+ page thread?
I'll be damned! You are alive and well! We are about to dispatch Karl to u-turn his party yacht from the Bermuda Triangle and to check on you at your house Big Grin What happens to your crystal ball? Is it still well and glittering?
Quote from cardboardbox :
do you think either of them could help me with a Sprint phone I cant activate because they say its already active? Someone likely stole/cloned my IMEI. Sprint CS in store or on phone doesnt care at all.
That is a technical issue, and I think they probably can't help you. What phone and model?

Quote from stilz :
How and where do you get SIM cards for additional lines (account already created).

Thanks
You can buy the Sprint SIM from any store or get free Sprint SIM (Apple device only) from the Apple store. Buy the SIMOLW506C if you plan to change phone because it's a universal Sprint SIM that works on all phones.
Quote from aznshorty :
Nice job! Does that mean you ported out with the S4 itself? Was the phonr active? Didn't use any of the phones on the list? I have am S4 currently active on Ting I'd love to port over as I don't have any phones on the list
Deactivate and delete the S4 from your Ting account, and then ask Sprint to change its PLBL flag to SPCS. LiterallyUnlimited is off today and tomorrow.
Quote from applepie100 :
What number did you call to have them refresh the signal or something...?
There is no such thing as refresh signal. Reply back with detailed history of your account and phone if the phone is still not working correctly.
Quote from far4lyfe :
I have an iPhone 7 that I recently moved from Tello to ATT GoPhone. I am trying to sign up on Sprint's website but it still shows up as ineligible.

Any suggestions?
Ask Sprint to change the PLBL flag to SPCS and add the IMEI onto the Sprint database.
Quote from iosid :
if i buy a sim from best buy , can i use it and the the promotion? what i supposed to do? thanks
If you buy the correct Sprint SIM for your phone. Call 866-782-8777 (7 AM to 11 PM CDT). Good luck!

ok, thanks for your super quick response. Just for me to understand the issue better - is the issue I'm having due to cdma to gsm transition? If I'd the ting gsm connection then I wouldn't have had this problem?

Welll.. no. The problem is that you are on Ting CDMA. Ting buys CDMA airtime from Sprint -- sooo... technically you are currently on Sprint and for this promotion Sprint wants to add NEW customers from other carriers.

Again, if you can port out to another carrier that is NOT Sprint, you can port your number back into Sprint on this promotion.

okay, thanks for the explanation. I've a firephone that I use on cricket, I'd think I should be able to port to tmobile pay as you go sim using that. Should I go to the store for the pay as you go sim or is there any link for $3? I couldn't find anything online for $3!

hi, I'm on ting cdma. I've a sprint sima and a brand new unlocked pixel. The tech support told me that the number is showing up as "Sprint reseller number" and the number can't be ported. I thought it was the PLBL/SPSC thing. Now I'm confused, don't what I need to do to get this porting done.
There are two different things:

(1)The PHONE (MEID) has to be free and off Ting completely. It is only AFTER it is off Ting that the PLBL/SPSC issue MAY arise.

(2) The NUMBER to be ported in has to be active on a non-Sprint-affiliated operator.

The number does not have to be attached to this phone.

Anyone get the sim card from a local store? Was it a hassle to do to participate in this promo?

I ordered just an hour ago and was told that it may not arrive tomorrow as I ordered after the 3pm cutoff time. Which makes me ineligible as this promo ends tomorrow. Thanks.

You should be good to move onto this promotion.... You have a Sprint SIM for your phone in hand? If not, get one from Best Buy ($10) or somewhere and then call the promotion number in the Wiki on the first page.

Not many people are successful getting SIMs from a Sprint store... Some do, though.

You can usually purchase one from Best Buy or if you have an IPhone for this promotion, you can get one for FREE at an Apple store.
