Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

It's a Verizon iPhone 6s. Bought brand new from Verizon, and used with Verizon, then R+, then Ting, and now Sprint. Activated on Sprint for 1 year free plan >5 days ago. Have done ##UPDATE# many times, but still only get 3G, no LTE at all. Thank you for your help.
Did you try the ##25327# to reset carrier settings then ##update#. Worked for me

Did you port in a wireless or wireline number? If wireless number, connect the iP6s to itunes and do a factory restore, then do a carrier reset, activate and update profile again. The APN settings in the iPhone are not automatically set correctly.

I doubt it. It should take 6 to 8 weeks.

I just realized that with five new lines that's 100 per new line, and then 50 for registering it with the ilove my credit union. way better than the 20k aa promo. However, if I just port one line over, then the AA deal is better for one free round trip in the us (48 states). Ooh decisions.
Isn't the AA deal also per line?

So the 1 year starts from each person's activation date? Or does everyone get billed standard rate on 8/1/2018?

Switched over from Cricket (with no issues when ordering and activating online). I attempted to pick up a SIM card in the sprint store and they would not give me one, so I paid the $14 ordering online from the link above. Once I received the SIM card it took about 5 mins to activate online, very easy! My only regret (which I will get over after a couple months of savings go by) was that I left $80 of credit just sitting in my Cricket account (which is now completely gone Frown But I didn't want to be penny wise and pound foolish, as this deal would more then make up for the $80 after two months of service. So overall, a win and I'm happy to be with Sprint (for the new year at least).

So it's $150 per new line for lovemycreditunion? The website reads $100 cash reward for every new line, $50 cash reward for every line transferred, and then another annual $50 reward.

What exact messages do you see if you put the IMEI onto the Ting BYOD and Swappa IMEI checkers?

Great news!
Your phone is compatible with Ting!
What's more, you can take your pick of the CDMA or the GSM network!

When I "activate this device" in settings it now asks me if I am a new customer or existing... I go through the menus until its asking me if I want specific addons like hotspot that already come with our plans so I'm afraid to go further, it might completely screw up my account.

Is the tmobile pin needed to transfer 4 digits? I've called the number in the link and the lady had no idea what I was talking about and said my pin is the same as my "security pin" I used to verify my account. Not sure Im buying it....
If it's still unclear, you set the security PIN when you call T-Mobile. They'll ask you to set one, so make sure your write it down. You'll need it for porting out. Your account number for porting out is literally your phone number with a 1- prefix in front

With the recent influx of new accounts, things might get even worse since there is no law that requires Sprint to maintain a minimum sustained data speed on its network.

I don't think so but I could be wrong. I thought it was for new lines attached to new accounts only. I can't see Sprint/AA handing over 100K points for this promo and not even honoring the referral for us BYODs.

Quote from ilovefreedeals :

Yeah, some folks here advised of receiving notification from Sprint that they had to choose one or the other. Could not do both.

Oh ok. I must have read that wrong. After doing some research, it seems that this promo replaced the older sprint promo where custies got 10% discount. So, when those old custies transferred over into THIS new promotion, they got $50.00.

It seems that us newbies to sprint with CUs who sign up will only get $100 per line and $50.00 annually per line if we stay with Sprint. Of course, after a full year, one might have become a murderous psychopath after having to deal with sprint's customer service. But flying into a murderous rage is worth a few hundred.
