Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Does anyone know the possible solution for this error while I am checking eligibilty it is showing "Sorry, but our records show you still owe Sprint for this device. Sign in to find this device on your account.".

I bough this LG Tribute 5 Boost mobile but never used it. What would be the best way to use this for BYOD free plan?

Just got off with the Sprint porting center, could barely understand the rep, but according the the rep I spoke with, my port from Ring.to has been approved by Ring.to but won't be effective until 7/5/2017...at least it looks like the port is going to go through.

Also checked the online tool -

Your number transfer has been authorized by your old provider and waiting for port activation. If you have received your phone, please call 866-437-1818 to complete your port. If you have not received your phone yet, please wait to call this number
Reading the text from the tool, it sounds like I actually need to actually request activation to complete port?

Can you change a non-eligible phone's IMEI with xPosed IMEI changer [google.com] to an eligible phone's IMEI and will the offer work? Assuming you know one before hand and have a rooted phone, of course. I really want to take Sprint up on this offer, but I love my Moto Z Droid :-)

Just call them now and they will do it today almost instantly. They had done this for me also and I just called and service was active on my iPhone in 5-7 minutes.

That is most likely the FED flag. Check the IMEI on Ting BYOD , Swappa, and Tello BYOD, and report back the messages you see.

What number did you call? Try calling the porting dept numbers posted on the wiki or 866-437-1818. They may be able to expedite and complete the port.

Finished porting 5 lines from ATT to Sprint.
10314 3 lines went from 2mbps w/ ATT to 6mbps w/Sprint
92354 2 lines went from 3mbps w/ ATT to 2mbps w/Sprint

The speeds are horrible but ATT charged me over $200 per month for crap now at least I get crap for free.

I think Moto Z Droid has no radio (hardware and firmware) support for Sprint LTE and no firmware support for Sprint 3G, therefore 110% won't work Big Grin

Originally called in on the 866 number but called back on the 877 number. It hit 10:00pm local time just as I was getting the phone activated and the call got "disconnected". Tried calling back and they were closed...hmmm. Fortunately it looks like the activation completed before we lost connection and when I turned on the phone it was activated and I was able to place a call out and download Open Signal from the App store.

If my bill in correct, although I will be amazed if it is, it makes for a dead cheap backup phone / hotspot.

I'm assuming it takes a few days before the online account catches up - can't really seem to do much there right now, including can't add the Tidal promo, but I do see "Unlimited - Bring Your Phone" as the plan.

Anyone here from gainesville, Florida and? I get the most horrible network on my s8. It took me like 15 mins to book a uber ride. I hardly get any 4b lte in most part of the city. Is this how sprint service is here or do i need to change try some settings?

I'm in Tampa, FL and getting good service on iphone 6. I'm in fact was with Ringplus and then Tello(both on Sprint network) since last 3 years and never had signla issues.

Please try below method if you have iphone:
1. Carrier Reset:
Make sure Roaming is Off (go to Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Options -> Roaming Off)
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
Go to dial pad
Enter ##25327#
Press Call
A "Reset Subscriber Settings" message will appear - press OK
Wait 5-10 seconds; the signal notification will display "Searching" on the top left of the screen.
When the phone shows a signal again, you can proceed to the next step.

2. Profile and PRL Update:
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
Press the phone app
Dial ##873283#
Press Call
Starting Service Update message will appear - press OK
If update is successful Service Update Complete message will appear after about a minute - press OK.
If the update is not successful or you get a "Service Update Failed" message, make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network and try again.

And below method if you have android phone:
1.Carrier Reset
Disable Wi-Fi and enable data (some LTE devices do not require this)*
Open the dialer
Dial ##72786# and press Call
OR
Press the menu button or tap the menu icon on the top right hand corner + Select Reset (Certain Android devices, such as many HTC devices, have slightly different steps to do the same thing)
Enter your MSL (xxxxxx) if prompted (copy the MSL from your Tello online account)
Press "OK", phone will restart then go through the activation process.
*Some LTE devices can perform a carrier reset over a Wi-Fi connection, but if it doesn't work for you, enable data, disable Wi-Fi and repeat the process before continuing to the next step.

2. Profile Update:
Disable Wi-Fi and enable data (some LTE devices do not require this)
Open your device's Application menu
Touch "Settings". There is some variation between Android phones in where you'll find the profile update option but you'll generally find it in one of a few places in the Settings menu:
Settings > About phone > System Updates > Update Profile
Settings > About Phone > Update Profile
Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Carrier Settings > Update Profile
Touch "Update Profile". The device will restart when complete.

3. PRL Update:
Disable Wi-Fi and enable data (some LTE devices do not require this)
Open your device's Application menu
Touch "Settings". There is some variation between Android phones in where you'll find the PRL update option but you'll generally find it in one of a few places in the Settings menu:
Settings > System Updates > Update PRL
Settings > SprintĀ®* System Updates > Update PRL
Settings > About Phone > Update PRL
Touch "Update PRL". Wait for the PRL update to complete, then touch "OK". Your device may restart after the PRL update. If not, please restart your device. At this point, our services should be enabled.

You might want to do it multiple times if not getting LTE.
