Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

One of my friends is on MetroPCS and wanted to take advantage of this offer. I'm trying to find him a cheap phone, preferably android. Anyone know what the cheapest ones on the list are?

I am here today, taking requests via Reddit.

Please remember, if your phone was a Boost, Virgin or Sprint Prepaid phone that you purchased to activate on R+ or Ting, it will likely FAIL the FED check that Sprint has and is not eligible to be brought over to Sprint for this deal.

Cancel within 14 days. You pay just for the phone, and they will refund all service charges, fees, etc.

I told you so.

Already answered your question. Don't upgrade if you want to keep your free lines.

To use the S8 as a second line, you would need another number to port in. You can swap device anytime; you cannot upgrade (i.e., lease a new phone or buy a new phone with installments) on the free line prior to 10/1/17. The reps gave you wrong info.

Yes, you have to pair the SIM to the new device before you can activate it. You can do this yourself online if you already have access to your Sprint account online; else, you have to call Sprint.
Thanks macrokelvin! So I could swap my SIM card on the Moto X Pure tothe S8 and still keep the deal?

My plan says BYOD unlimited on the main screen, but when I click on the details, it lists the $45 2GB plan. My data usage is also not showing up. Is this normal? Will it fix itself eventually?

I called and the sprint guy said that I don't qualify for the BYOD unlimited plan because I upgraded my phone, but most of the reps are clueless so I'm not sure. I just bought one of those $2.50 a month iPhones and already paid it off.
You upgraded from a existing free year line or you added new line?

If it was free line phone upgrade then not sure how u did it as most of us get eligible in 2019 message. Please confirm

I think Moto Z Droid has no radio (hardware and firmware) support for Sprint LTE and no firmware support for Sprint 3G, therefore 110% won't work Big Grin
How about Moto X 2nd gen? Wanted to get one more line for my wife. Is it possible to make device not in the list work?

if you upgraded the line you might be screwed. the offer states no upgrades for about 120 days. Maybe if you add a line (if you qualify) for the Best Buy iPhone SE offer, port that new line out, wait a day or so and replace the your current phone with the new iPhone SE. The offer does say something like if you loose or damage your phone you can replace the phone with another qualifying phone which the iPhone SE is.

If I already have an account with Sprint from BB iphone SE deal, am I still eligible for this?
Am I considered "new customer" once I cancel those lines?

TIA

I'm pretty sure you need to not be a customer for 45 days in order to be considered "new". Otherwise, they just re-open your existing account and they mark it as a "win-back".

I have not been able to get a straight answer from sprint...

I am on a family plan, contract over. Can I sign up for a new line in my name and port my existing number over to it and still get this deal (I don't want to lose my current #)?

Also, I have a sprint LG G4. Can I use that or do I have to buy a phone on the list, then switch to the G4 once everything is set up?

Thank you!

I have 2 lines on this free plan and a newly purchased iPhone SE (bb deal)on the same account under a new $45 plan. I plan to port out/ cancel the iPhone SE after they unlock it. Do you think I'll have any problems porting the SE back in on the free plan? Thanks
