Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

The rep is clueless. You can try Sprint tech reps at 866-556-7310. Keep trying until you get someone who knows how to do it. LiterallyUnlimited says he will not change the MVNO flag for any Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile or Sprint Prepaid devices as it may put his job in jeopardy, so if your device is one of those, you are at the mercy of Sprint clueless reps.

T-Mobile Note 5 has no support (hardware and firmware) for Sprint network.

You can trade in a Ford Pinto too.... I think you posted on the wrong thread Big Grin

Yes, swap it yourself online from your Sprint account or call Sprint.

What is the model number/part number?

Without knowing the history of your account, we can't give you any suggestion/answer (i.e., you have to provide more info). I am guessing Putin hacked your account Big Grin

No.

Family plan on which carrier?

I think the more people call Sprint and alert Marcelo Claure, the less chance of getting them Big Grin If Sprint follows the T&Cs, you already knew the answer.

Without knowing the history of your account, I am guessing you are near your credit limit from Sprint. You can ask Sprint to increase your credit limit or do down payment. You can put down as much down payment as you want as long as you keep a minimum of $0.24 ($0.01 x 24) on the installments.

If you had searched/read my posts, you would had figured it out sooner. The unlocked S8 comes with multi-CSC preloaded on it's firmware, so wi-fi calling works out of the box Big Grin
Thanks. Seems so. It was 3rd line asking down payment. I was approved for 5 lines and first two did not require any down payment. I went to store to try acivating 4th line but did not go well as it was showing $15 instead of $2.49 promo offer and also dont know why but it asked security questions again which we usually have for credit check. Do you think they ran credit check again ...if so then why when i was already approved for 5 lines?

Anyways seems i cannot add any new lines successfully in addition to existing two free lines as i told third line which i added online did not work and 4th line in store was coming as $15 ...

If I want to change my device, can I just use the same SIM card, or do I have to order another one?

Also can I use an unused simcard that I bought

The number of lines approved and credit limit are two separate things (just like the FED and the unlocking policy, which everyone is confused about, that are also two different things). The number of lines approved is just that, the number of lines Sprint allows you to open/add. The credit limit, on the other hand, is for financing any device. You have to make down payment if there is not enough credit line to finance a device.

I have no idea what you are talking about on the $15 and $2.49. If I have to guess, the powerball is probably 7 for the next drawing Big Grin

Yes and yes as long as the SIM and the device are compatible. You have to pair the SIM with the device on your account before you can activate the device. You can do this yourself online from your account or call Sprint.

Did they shut off your data completely after 100mb? I would be roaming on Verizon a lot.
I turned roaming complete off as I get a stronger Verizon signal than Sprint and was concerned about their stringent roaming constraints.

Until someone besides Verizon builds out their network where I live I can't 100% switch over as Big Red is the only service where I get somewhat decent / reliable signal.

Considering a signal booster but a decent one is a pretty hefty investment.

Thought about adding a second line before but I don't have any other compatible phones lying around the house that I can find, Sprint Note 2, LG G4, bunch of low-end Verizon/Sprint Android phones - but nothing else on the list - and there is a sudden shortage of Sprint Phones on CL (which traditionally in my area are dirt cheap).

Thanks OP! I am so happy. Brought a galaxy s7 of Craigslist for $180 added a second line for me today. I never had anything plan above 5G before. I used to think Ringplus was the best. This is the slickest deal.

My S7 was from sprint. When I check my S7 on swappa, it failed the FED. Check. But I have no issue with adding it to this plan.

What makes you think it failed the Fed Check? As far as I know Swappa does not even check the Fed check (which is a major flaw in Swappa). In general Swappa tests are useless for Sprint phones. Try it on the Ting checker.

Anyway if it shows as eligible on the Sprint BYOD offer eligibility checker, that is all you need. If it does not, I would have to know what the Ting checker says exactly to comment further.

Applied over phone for 1st year free offer

1. Got free sprint sim card at apple store
2. Got account number and password for transfer from previous carrier and phone imei
3. Called number from wiki.
4. While on call you have to spell everything to rep: name, surname, address, ssn, imei, sim icc, email, security questions. Be prepared
5. Rep told me that I can add lines to this plan, just need to call them.
6. Rep offered phone protection - declined
7. Rep offered free android tablet with $15/per month per line - declined
8. Rep didn't set up autopay, however asked cc info. Had to setup it later on sprint website.
After around 5 min after call old sim showed no service, inserted sprint sim and everything worked, got lte.

Side question about bestbuy offer.
I tried to add iphone se 64gb for 4.99/month to bestbuy cart, selected add as new line. It showed my plan as LTE Provisioning w/Hotspot $0.00/mo.
Question is will it be added as new line to 1st year free plan or it will get some new plan?
