Anyone recommend a cheap but good performance (like iphone 6s) phone for me?
Many people mentioned a Motorola G4, but which model I have to buy from Amazon? Thanks
And from what I understand from your previous reply that I don't need to put my current AT&T sim to my new Moto G4 phone when I check my eligibility and transfer number online from the promotion link?
Thank agains.
Number port-in happens during SIM activation, not the initial online ordering. So the service interruption will be minimum.

I ask because I have 3 free lines with Republic Wireless currently (using Tmobile) and the service is good but its free for only 5 more months and its not unlimited data. I am not sure how Sprint coverage will work for us so I don't want to risk losing the free Republic lines.
Could I use my 2 FreedomPop number to port in along with our IMEIs for our Nexus 5x and Moto E4 but not cancel our Republic service. Will swapping in the sprint sim card and activating service kick my phones off Republic?

FYI - 85622 Green Valley, AZ - bill currently shows $2.74 for the bill. Don't know if that will be the final amount due, but that is what is currently showing due.
The Sprint signal bounces all over the place at my physical address, between 2g - 4g.
I have also been performing speed test in various places around Tucson, Green Valley, and Sahuarita, and finding show huge variances in speeds...sometimes with only a block in difference in distance (was running speed tests at red lights).
LG Volt that I had on Ring+ / Ting came back as ineligible.

Also can they add just on the call or do they need a 'ClickIt' Ticket.I am tired of talking to reps since it takes at least good 10 mins before I come to know that they cannot help me.
I also tried inserting my sprint sim in a unlocked tmobile iphone 7. It shows sprint network but i cannot make call. But I read somewhere that tmo version of iphone 7 doesn't support sprint due to intel chip instead of Qualcomm. I wonder if you have any info on that.
Appreciate your help.

Used this SIM from amazon, which I was skeptical of using because it only mentions Apple. Listing says SIMGLW436C but they sent a SIMOLW416C

(bought it intending to use in an iphone but since I had it...)
Went to Google Voice, paid the $3 and created a PIN code.
to pay the $3 unlock fee: https://www.google.com/voice/b/0/unlock
Set up a PIN code - go to Google Voice, click the More icon on left column, click Legacy Google Voice, click gear icon on far right, select Settings, click the Voicemail and Text tab, enter a Voicemail PIN code.
Tried to use the website https://www.sprint.com/content/Sp...phone=byod but when I put in my IMEI and phone # (which it said was fine), and it tried to load the next page, it sat there with the loading icon and doing nothing.
called 866-782-8777
Told agent I wanted to sign up for the transfer a number and get a year free promo. Said I was transferring a Google Project Fi number. Used phone # as account #.
After going through all of the hoops of setting up a new account, was told to turn phone off (if not already off) and turn it on in about 10 minutes.
Went about doing other stuff and checked a couple of hours later, and still not working. So, decided to check status of porting of number at https://shop2.sprint.co
it said that transfer had been authorized by my old provider, it was now waiting for port activation, and to call 866-437-1818. I called the number and the person answering took my info (# and PIN). After a little bit he said that it was now activated. On an aside, this person could see that it was a Google Voice port, but had no issue with that. This dept. apparently only deals with porting issues and nothing else; they don't seem to care about what plan or promo you're signed up under.
Waited a few minutes then turned phone on. In order to get internet to work, I had to go into settings / carrier settings and tell it to update device config and PRL.
Phone works for incoming and outgoing calls, internet on phone works, and outgoing messaging works. Still waiting to see if incoming messaging works (sent a msg a couple of mins ago that hasn't arrived yet)
I have tried to sign up for My Sprint using ported phone number, but it's saying "Device is not active or has been cancelled". Nor was I able to sign up using the link they sent to my email. When trying that link it says "Invalid email"
edit to add - incoming text messaging now working (5 hours later). Still unable to sign up for My Sprint using link they emailed me, but was almost able to sign up through the Sprint website. Now it accepted my phone number, but when got to the very last page received a "This area of the site is temporarily unavailable" message. Edit again - now I was able to create a My Sprint account on the website https://mysprint.sprint
Interestingly, it says my device is available for upgrade. Edit: checked it again a couple of days later and it's changed to not being upgradeable until July 2018
