Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

The ownership flag shouldn't have changed then. I don't know what else you can do other than try to get a supervisor to straighten it out. I would go to a Sprint corporate store if you can and see what they can do.

Also ask on www.reddit.com/r/sprint [reddit.com]
sorry which ownership flag and why will it change...are you saying previously before activation bestbuy was owner and now after activation i am owner

SPCS: YES is the ownership flag meaning that the phone could be active on Sprint postpaid. It switch to NO. You should ask on www.reddit.com/r/sprint

Did you activate a new phone on the Tello line or did you terminate the line?

A few days after doing this deal, I swapped to a device that is locked to Sprint. Will Sprint unlock this phone upon request after 50 days or will they say I had to buy it from them?

Man o Man. Be very careful about what IMEI you use when you port over your number. I have no idea why, but no one could help me activate a different phone with the same plan. From the way a retail store, corporate store, and Customer Service Rep explained, the service is essentially locked to the phone and it cant be changed. I would have to change my plan to use the new phone I bought.

Such a pain.

I've been jumping through hoops trying to activate the "new" phone and no one is able to do it. Retail said because of the promotional plan i was on they couldn't even touch it ( system wouldn't let them do anything), Corporate said it would be an additional $15/month if i wanted to get the new phone activated, and when i called in the CSR rep said i would need to change my plan completely to activate a different phone. Confused

Why don't you activate the phone you originally registered with the plan first and then switch to the new phone???

This deal is NOT available at retail store. They can't help you! Many of us including me had swapped device via chat. No problem at all.

I don't know what that means to put an account on hold, but the only 2 ways I know of to free up a phone so that it can be put on another Sprint network line are to put another phone on the line or terminate the line.

Then it didn't go through. You can terminate the Tello line or try to get a Tello rep to put the different phone on your Tello line
