Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Tried to order add four verizon lines online (3 iphone 6s and 1 iphone 5s). After credit check I got a message on the cart saying too many items in cart. Chat rep indicated it could be a credit check problem and that I should try again. Not sure why I would have a credit problem since it's over 800. I tried again and got the same error. I then called customer service and they didn't know what the problem was but will send me the sim cards. Now I wasted a credit check as I am sure I will need to get it checked again when I receive the sim cards. Anyone else experience this?
You are absolutely not going to be able to do that online as a new Verizon customer. Too many iPhones, your SSN is now flagged by fraud I am sure. You could have done it in store but not online.

They only do 1 external credit check per 60 days so no you won't get another external credit check but you aren't going to be able to order 4 iPhones as a new customer online. Doesn't matter how high your credit score is, this is a fraud protection thing.

If SIM cards are on the way, they have opened a postpaid account for you and you are going to have to either activate the SIM cards in suitable phones and then port the lines out or terminate the postpaid lines they have opened for you.

Why are you opening Verizon postpaid lines for this deal?

You can even port it the same day. It just has to be during the time when the porting departments are open.

did anybody notice this in the referral webpage? at the bottom

"Customers on BYOD 1YearFree plan are NOT eligible for Sprint Referral Rewards program."

just passing along. however I think if you have an original sprint paying account, you can get referrals.
just won't be able to get them from an account with BYOD

and the link to check if your device is eligible appears to be down?

Sorry - what I meant was that I am a current verizon customer with 4 family phones. When trying to sign-up for the sprint deal online I was unable to checkout. I called the number listed above and they said they would just send me the sim cards.

I have a Verizon A1662 currently active on Sprint (Ting). Did it 4 days ago. Not sure where you're getting information that they won't do it. It doesn't have B41, but it absolutely works. The store needs to have someone with DNA2 access to add it. It's a really easy process once you find someone who knows what they're doing.

Not true. I easily and successfully transferred a T-Mobile post-paid line (with an A1662 from last summer's US Cellular deal) to Sprint via this deal with no problems.

Sprint, BM and VM prepaid phones won't pass the FED unless you pay an ebay unlocker to clear the FED for you.

I would take a look at used phones off of swappa:

https://swappa.com/buy/devices/sprint?type=phone

Just make sure you confirm with the seller that the device is fully paid off, not leased and that the line it was purchased on is not still under contract from buying the phone. And of course, buy from established sellers with good feedback.
Thanks. Looking at the iPhone 5S or 5C, it looks like I would want to get a Verizon branded one? Or if I went for the 6 or 7 it would be Sprint? Do you know if the Sprint iPhone 5 would work? I don't see why only the Verizon version would.

Do I have to buy the Sprint Sim cards, or can I use free ones like from the Apple store? Also, if I am on Ting, how would I go about getting on this deal?

As far as I can tell, numbers active on Ting CDMA are not eligible for this offer. Ting GSM numbers are eligible.

First off. I'm not an iphone user, but this thread is filled with iphone SE questions. So confusing for SE users.
Yeah, both models have cdma but differ in bands.

But still better than comparably priced android phones which dont have many
lte bands and cdma + gsm radios. Smilie

For the iPhone SE, as long as it's unlocked, it should work on Sprint. All of them. The Verizon one, the AT&T one, the T-Mobile one...

If it's been active on Sprint before and just needs the MVNO flag flipped, contact me on Reddit.

If it's never been active on Sprint AND it's SIM unlocked (GSX report can confirm this), you need to contact a corporate store and ask them if they have DNA access to add unlocked iPhones to the database. You'll find one eventually. Corporate Service and Repair centers are way more likely to have them, but this is not a guarantee.

The non-Sprint SE does not support Band 41, but otherwise works fine. I activated my 16 GB Verizon iPhone SE on Ting CDMA just a few days ago. You NEED the right SIM card.

I can't advise you to do that. That's called "false churn" in the industry. All I can say is that if a number is active on Ting CDMA, Sprint considers you a subscriber and ineligible for this deal.
