Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hi, can you link or maybe tell me what page/post I can look to see swap causing Plan Changes?

I asked Sprint.com/chat and told me I need to temporarily swap cause i broke my iPhone 5c screen (and send to repairs) to iPhone 5, they said sure no problem and plan won't change, (but I didn't swap cause I was thinking I will lose free plan)

Thanks

You can change devices, but you need a replacement device with the right Sim. I'm just saying that it's possible during the swap process you might lose your free plan. Make sure that doesn't happen.
Thanks and repped for information. You said some others swap phone and have trouble, did they do themselves or with the help of customer service?

The swaps through CS are the ones that seem to have issues. You can do swaps on your account page.

The Moto E4 uses one of two SIMs. You can either use the BYOD SIM kit with the UPC 760492035279, or you can use the SIM card SIMGLW416Q, which has the UPC 019962040849.

Moto E4 from Amazon at 99$ with Ads is pretty good for 6~12 Months use. The money you save for a year in Sprint will be worth it. You can use for more than 1 year but dunno, maybe you get better deal on phone in black friday or something?

I think of it as I am paying 8~9$/month for Moto E (full in advance) + 3~4$/Month for service.

So, uh, I have news.

In lieu of DNA2, if you have an unlocked iPhone 6/6+/6S/6S+ or a Qualcomm 7/7+ with Find My iPhone disabled, you can plug the IMEI into Ting's BYOD checker (ting.com/byod), and it will attempt to push the serial number to the Sprint database for you.

If the push is successful, you'll see that your unlocked iPhone will now be eligible for CDMA service, as well as Ting GSM. You will still need the ownership flag flipped (and I can still do that for you via Reddit). Once the flag is flipped, you should be good to activate on Sprint.

This isn't an exact science, and it won't always work. If it fails, you'll see that your phone can only get GSM service. To troubleshoot the issue further, you'll need to contact Sprint or your original carrier to get the phone unlocked.

Should out to this thread [reddit.com] to get me thinking about it and investigating further.

Anyone know the story with the $13 /mo protection plan they added to my line with a iphone SE? I was told when signing up it was being automatically added, but that I could remove it at any time. So I removed it the very next day after getting into my online account. A week later I check back, and it's still there?!? I remove it again and make doubly sure that I save the change. A week and a half later I check in again... and it's still listed under services. WTF??

Removals are typically set for the start of your next billing cycle. You have to specifically request it be removed same day.

Won't work for iphone SE then? Couldn't get my Verison SE to work on Sprint, even though the clueless employees keep trying. I've been told by someone here it needs be 'added to Sprint database' or 'whitelisted'. Not sure what's the difference, but you'd think the actual Sprint employees would know if it's not doable.. but they don't seem to. Anyway, tried checking with Ting BYOD for nothing better to try, and does say the phone should work with CDMA or GSM... but still haven't had it activate on Sprint. It just says 'No Service' 99% of the time with the Sprint SIM. Oddly enough, with a Boost Mobile Sprint SIM, it does maintain the Sprint network and a number of bars... but doesn't help me activate my line with the assigned Sprint SIM.

Well, that's more than the Sprint rep could (would?) tell me anyway.
