Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Will a T-Mobile iPhone 6 (not 6s) work on this deal?
Or is it incompatible?

A friend has long since upgraded to an iPhone 7 and has an old one. If it will work, what would I have to do, get him to call Sprint to unlock it?

Anyone else have an issue with an unlocked Moto E4 not passing the sprint byod checker??

I guess the IMEI needs to be added to sprint's database. What's the best way to get it whitelisted, with sprint tech or directly through the telesales number? I'd rather not start an account with telesales just yet because I still need to get a sim card at BB.

No. Sprint will not unlock your phone. Your friend need to call T-MOBILE to unlock it. You can then try to activate at Sprint.

I think Sprint tech support or call a corporate/ repair Sprint store. Let us know your outcome Art. Also just thinking about if you run it through tings byod check if that might push it through

Thanks, I checked several times last night and it wasn't passing the checker, checked again just now and it passed. Weird.

Can someone please explain the cheapest possible phone you can get to work with this Sprint deal?

I've read about 100+ pages of posts and have basically got no information, the wiki and all the comments are all over the place.

Edit: I'm pretty sure this thread gave me an aneurysm.. if anyone wants to help me send me a PM, if not, that's okay too.

Similar awful experience with my S8. Supposedly activated, but when inserted the SIM card, no network service. IMEI was also shorted the last digit on both phones I was planning to port, so makes me think that could be a contributor too. No resolution by calling 4! phone numbers at Sprint.

They are sending me NEW sims and I twice gave them my FULL IMEIs. They say 'everything will work' with the new ones. I am highly doubtful.

My original SIMs were 'ISIM V1' kits. Wonder if this is part of my problem.
Update: I went all over Minneapolis and visited 5 stores before finding two compatible SIMs in the Roseville Sprint store. Called Sprint to start the port, popped the SIM in that night, activated the service, and left Verizon. Now I pay $8.87 for two lines and have unlimited data with very decent coverage.

My biggest complaint is that Sprint won't allow you to use data while on a phone call. Data just shuts off!

I guess I can live with that and save ~$1,500 for the year.

And, bonus, Sprint is about 100 Mbps in Minnetonka, MAN and some other spots around the MSP metro. That's way faster than TMo or Vzn.

I'm using the Moto e4 and it works well. Pretty easy to activate on this promotion.

In the time it took you to read over 100+ pages you could have easily just searched for those phones online and found it yourself. There are only 26 approved phones, and you could easily disregard any of the iphones or samsung galaxies, as they clearly wouldn't be the cheapest. That's only 13 phones you needed to check the price on.
