Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

How much are taxes and fees for 2 lines in Cali??

Will be about $9 for 1 line according to the wiki. I'm assuming will be less than double for 2 lines in an account?

I agree completely. I have a nexus 5 that I'm paying for service because sprint is beyond incompetent. I'd rather pay for service than have sprint for free.
Ageed I'd rather pay for service that works too. I was hesitant to do this just because of my dealings with sprint in the past. Should've listened to my gut they've only gotten worse over the years. It's sad I've gotten better service in the past from some shady mvno's that were probably run out of someone's basement. But I'm not hating on those this worked out for just know you may regret it eventually even though you can leave.

I'm paying $13.05 for five lines so two lines shouldn't be more than $6

Ok so what is the cheapest way to get "wireless number to port in".

I really do appreciate the help, but this thread feels like pulling teeth.

I don't understand why it's so hard for someone to say:

A) Walk into BestBuy and purchase X with Y plan for $ZZ.ZZ + Tax
B) Call Sprint to order M sim card but have it picked up for $WW at location
C) Call Z Number and ask them to transfer your account.

This whole process seems like 3-5 steps, but I can't seem to get a straight answer of how much I'll be paying to who and where.

I'm just going to keep my Freedompop phones, they seem easier to understand than this mess. Peace
Better yet, go here [freedompop.com], get your FP pin number and port from them.

You make it sound so difficult.Big Grin

OK, just deactivated one of my Moto-E (2nd Gen) from Tello service (previously on R+).

Sprint Check your eligibility, gave the message:
"Sorry, but this device can't be activated with Sprint service. Try another device or shop for a new one."

Just wonder if anyone succeed to use Moto-E (2nd Gen) for this Sprint BYOD?
What should I do? Frown

I'm thinking about go & get a BOYD SIM from Sprint B&M store...will it work ???
The Moto E (2nd Gen) is not on the list of eligible phones listed in the wiki and listed on the Sprint eligibility page. You must use one of the phones on the list, at least to initially sign up for the BYOD account;

And the beauty of porting out of FreedomPop for this deal, is that it doesn't close your FreedomPop account! You can just go into your FreedomPop account and select a new phone number after the port out to Sprint is complete.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Exactly, but i do believe it must be a global or GSM FP number.

In theory, yes. But I did one port from one of my Sprint SIM FreedomPop accounts and it worked. And a few of my other ATT LTE FreedomPop SIM accounts would not work. As best as I can tell for the ATT SIM it was due to that particular phone number being in a prefix that Sprint said they didn't service (rural eastern San Diego county).

cool deal!!! switch two lines from Cricket with Iphone 6 on 07/16, got bill on 07/18, the total cost is $4.78. I am in Bay area Peninsula, and easy to get 24Mbps down, and 5Mbps up. Better than the speed of Cricket. Thanks OP. Fantastic deal!

Looking back I see that you had billing issues and you were put on the $45/mo plan. That could be why it has slipped through.

Would this phone work for this deal? Is this a good price? Found it on clearance at Target.
