Received sim kit from sprint yesterday.
Tried activating same on sprint.com/activatenow

I checked a couple stores and the only one who would sell me a sim wanted 10 bucks even though they're only $2.99 on the website. I know you can get them at BB but would be nice if you could get them at the sprint store for cheaper in case BB is out.
I'm trying to get Sprint to unlock some phones on a paid account, and they are telling me that their system won't allow them to do the unlocking if there's a balance on the account. Has anyone ever heard of that?

EDIT: forgot to add that I have an unused AT&T sim I can pop into the G5+ to switch over to first if necessary ($10 minimum top-up required for this route).
Just sharing. I'm an existing customer that made referrals and just got the email I've got GC on the way for referrals I made for this plan. So those ppl should be getting their GC.
If u are only this BYOD plan, u would not be able to make referrals. Or at least I'm pretty sure they won't honor it.
