Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

From SDer, it is learnt that it's best to ignore these people that "think" that you can't have your cake and eat it too. Free service is with referral is no go?LMAO

You're not getting it, you might get your account frozen by the fraud department, enjoy.

I think that's key "PAIR".
You cannot simply swap sims like on gsm phones. Always need to pair. Done online which never works for me or through call/chat with CSR

was it confirmed after 30 days of user registered through your referral... or how many days... usually it shows verifying date in referral status...
I signed under a person who has Paid Sprint Line, I signed up on June 19, today I also got the email saying congrats, your 50$ visa card is coming.

So, I have free BYOD Plan but my referral is existing Sprint customer with paid lines. And I still got congratulations 50$ VISA email

Could anyone explain to me how to get my new moto G5+ onto the sprint free plan with the following parameters?

1. Current phone number I'd like to keep is tied to moto e (2nd gen - sprint only) on Ting CDMA
2. Moto G5+ is new in box from Prime Day & doesn't have service anywhere

I'd like the transfer to be cheap & easy, but not sure how to port out the number to the new phone? I do have an unused at&t sim so I was planning on signing up for the $2 prepaid with G5 using the Ting number, then transfer the G5 to the Sprint plan - I'm just not sure how to get the process started
1A. Port out to at&t just call to activate the $2 prepaid plan - minimum of $10 fund reuqired. Then you have to ask rep for an at&t account number (not phone number) and PIN.

1B. Or get a tmobile sim card to port in your Ting number, you don't have to add fund when you call to activate but do need set up a PIN. "1+phone number" is your Tmobile account number. If you can get a sim for free or under $10 this will be cheaper than plan A.

2. Get a Sprint SIM card for Moto G5 plus (the universal sprint BYOD sim SIMOLW506C works on mine) and call the dedicated 866 number, provide port in account number, phone number, and PIN.

When I first signed up I was put on a temp plan then switched over to the free plan. The first month I was charged $64.

Good news is that the second month I am being refunded the original charge. It was done automatically.

I know this was a concern with others here. Hopefully it works the same with everyone.

So far happy with Sprint.
Just Sprint Credits like bill credits or money back to bank account? Thanks

Bill Credit so far. Though that is all I expect. Probably have to call to have them mail you a check.

I had escalated the case by contacting Marci https://twitter.com/marcicarris?lang=en / [email protected] .. her team zeroed out my first bill to 0$, I didn't have to pay anything, not even taxes.

I was asking cause I bought iPhone SE also and ported out, I ask for prorated charges or something.

I haven't gone through the process, but that sounds correct.
got another kinda complex one for you...

So my wife, who is currently on Sprint and contract, wants to give her iphone 6s+ to her mom. She would pay $100 to break contract and get phone unlocked. She would port her number (which is eligible) over to the Virgin (essentially) free plan and purchase a phone from them (she wants a larger capacity phone anyway). Her mom, whose phone # is eligible for the BYOD plan, would take the newly unlocked iphone 6s+ from my wife and port her number over and activate the phone. Benefit: she and her mom are on essentially free plans and new(ish) phones now.

Any pitfalls you see with this?

if you are taking atleast 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 lines.. then you are saving a lot... if you are taking just 1 line then probably your personal choice to waste hard pull or not
Just 1 line. I have prepaid now but thought of getting a moto e4 to get this deal.
