Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I ordered 5 SIM cards over the phone because online sign up had issue with credit check. Account has not yet been set up.
I gave IMEI and phone numbers to phone rep. Are the 5 SIM cards attached to specific phones or are they interchangeable at this point?

Thinking about having one of the 5 open their own account but want to make sure there isn't a SIM mixup

The sims are interchangeable you don't have to use them. However, I don't know if the imei/phone number combos are attached to your account.

The unlock can take up to 24 hours but can be quicker. wouldnt it be cheaper if your wife can get a new iPhone on sprint dpp pay that off, I'm not sure if her plan would allow that. They usually have $200-$300 sprint iPhone 7/7+ at Best Buy. Then upgrade to galaxy J3 for $2.49 a month comes with $90 gift card. That will free up the iPhone 7/7+. And then both of them can be on the free sprint plan. After that cancel the old sprint plan.
thanks for the reply and suggestion. This is a good idea but seems that my wife would not be able to keep her phone number? Plus i wonder what they would charge for early termination on a DPP that is pretty new (imagine it would be about the cost of the phone anyway, right?). Wife pays 50$/mo i think so the economics might not work quite right but at least both she and her mom get phones they want and keep their numbers. Idk if folks can think of other $$ savings here, lmk!

on the newer plans, there is no ETF for DPP if you pay it off. Not sure how it will work on your wife's plan. Your wife will need to port her number to another carrier first then back to sprint. A little work but doable.

They don't always send the correct sims from what has been posted here in this thread. This chart [ting.com] may help, but realize a lot of phones will accept more than 1 part # sim. Such as the moto G5 plus will accept SIMOLW416C, SIMGLW446C or the universal sim SIMOLW506C. And I believe all iphones will take a SIMGLW436C.

The guy was asking if the sim cards are attached to the phones on his order and I told him no. I had ordered 5 sim cards but ended up only using 3 of them. And they are all interchangeable, there wasn't any markings on them that says I needed to use a certain sim card number for a certain phone number. The other phones I was able to reuse existing sim.

As for him trying to use one of the imei/phone numbers for another account, I wasn't sure if that was possible or if it is already reserved for his account.

I went through several pages, can't go through all the 400 pages of post . I am with Cellnuvo now, no matter enroll in free 1 year plan with Sprint or not, it is better to deactive my current plan, and change MVNO flag or device ownership from PLBL to SPCS. I will probably go to FreedomPop. The question is, what is the contact information to send the request of " change MVNO flag or device ownership from PLBL to SPCS", thank you very much!!

The phone numbers are not tied to the IMEI until it is paired with the SIM and activated. I had one phone/IMEI, and SIM, that I initially gave one phone number to start the process, then changed it when it came time to actually port the phone number in because the CSR said that number wouldn't work. I went through about 5 FreedomPop numbers until the CSR told that one will work.....

Interesting. So the cards had no part numbers? So just the sim itself and not a punch-out from the credit card size plastic? like this [amazon.com]

The cards had part numbers they were the boyd sim kit the 506 ones. I'm just saying they are all interchangeable meaning you can just randomly pick one of the 5 to activate the phone or a used one that is compatible with the phone.

Can anyone confirm if the Moto E4 uses the same sim card as the Moto G5 Plus. I switched to sprint with G5 Plus but want to change phones to the E4. The customer service rep said the sim card was not compatible and advised i got a sprint store.... I have been to over 5 sprint stores and not one will sell a sim card....

Thanks,
The G5 plus will work with the 506 universal sim but i have yet to hear that sim pairing with a E4. You need this one. Reps again to ecartman.

Whoops, I just tried to activate my Moto E4 using the 506 sim. It won't connect to the network since its the wrong sim. ordered the 416 from twigby instead

question: is it easy to swap out the sim on my sprint account online? or is this something i would have to call in for, since I already tried to activate it with the 506 sim
