Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

First make sure your phone is compatible, it probably isn't if it's AT&T branded. They ship the sim overnight if you use the website linked. You don't necessarily need to pay off the phone, AT&T will send a final bill if you port.
It is iPhone 6 Plus, maybe 6s plus, I don't know. When I checked the eligibility at Sprint website, it did not go through because the phone still belonged to AT&T. I don't think you can port out if the phone is not paid for.

Probably it wiould take a day or two to unlock the phone after I pay off. Porting would take another day of two, right? It seems to be a little too tight.

Porting from att should take minutes not days

If it didn't go through the eligibility check then it's not Sprint compatible.

It makes no difference . Your new Sprint sim will not have service until your exist number is released by your current provider.
I have an unlocked Google number and unlocked Moto e4, but the Sim isn't here yet. Should I Port the number over now without the sim? Or should I wait? Thanks

you need both the sim and meid to activate a line. So you need to wait.

I'm currently on a family plan with cricket, and I'm not the account holder. Can I port to sprint in my own name?

I called the port in number in wiki, they said it's no problem to use my personal info and SSN and helped open my account. But wiki says use the account holder's name to transfer. Quite confused.
Also, they couldn't help order sim for me on phone, I just ordered my sim using the link in wiki. Let's see what happens

Thank you! I checked sprint's website, it says account name, address, account#, pin. Good to know the first two are not required.😁

Yes. You just need the account number and PIN, which is aka the billing password (and which is not the same as the password to log into your online account).

Correct, you use your own name and SSN to open the Sprint account.

They opened an account and you didn't have the SIM to do the port in? You aren't supposed to open the account until you get the SIM. How did they open the account if you don't have any SIMs? You need to have lines in the account and without SIMs you can't have lines. Doesn't make sense.

Back to the deal....Has anyone had issue with your data usage not posting correctly. I've used about 2GB, but report 0.00026GB.
Yeah the data is nowhere near what I am using. I have done over 100 speed tests! Surprisingly, it is faster than Verizon in a lot of areas! EEK!
I tested this in the 30180 zip code and got 49.02 Mbps download and 14.52 upload with Sprint compared to Verizon who was 21.66 download and 17.16 upload. On my drive there, Verizon was 0.41 Mbps down and 0.27 up in some areas.
