Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Believe it or not...!!! I still haven't had my 1st Moto-E4 activated. (Well, my main issue is from the f!ck#ng LycaMobile port-out process. If anyone has been on LycaMobile, pls correct me. I was so frustrates enough to pull the FCC site up & filing a complaint against LycaMobile on the charge of: Withholding the customer port-out info.)

My patience is running out...

I'm thinking about return these 2 Moto-E4s & all 2 SIMs.
Let Sprint & its incompetent management enjoy the bankruptcy protection moment (which could be on the horizon) !!!
Well if port in is your only issue then your problem is purely your cheapnes. To activate the plan for a year free, you dont even want to spend a few bucks ($3-$12) to get on a real prepaid plan which get port in within a day. If you want to get back your lycamobile number you can always activate your new line phone and sort out the port in later.

Is there Sprint problem? I really dont think so, since majority of us spend less than 2 phone call to get everything setup.

I personally have a Lycamobile number that I can port in, but why I spent $11 for a ATT prepaid, yes to save me the exact trouble, if you ever google around you will see how terrible Lycamobile can be to port out..

It took me minutes, if not seconds to Port in from Google voice. I think you can Port the number directly from the other phone as long as you have the right Sim and phone.

I had to call a second line right after the initial call to finish the port.
Did you port a wireless number into GV? Then port the GV number to sprint?

This was a pleasant experience for my wife and I. We're over 1 month into our contract with Sprint, having brought our iPhone 6s's from Verizon. I got my email confirmation last week that our $200 lovemycreditunion reward was approved and coming in <4 weeks. My monthly phone "bill" has been $5.44 for 2 lines. Admittedly, our coverage and service for Sprint is not as strong as Verizon was at times and it is irritating not to surf and talk at the same time - but we feel the tremendous cost savings is well worth it.

Try ting checker with find my iphone disabled. It doesn't list iphone SE but at least give it a try.

"In lieu of DNA2, if you have an unlocked iPhone 6/6+/6S/6S+ or a Qualcomm 7/7+ with Find My iPhone disabled, you can plug the IMEI into Ting's BYOD checker (ting.com/byod), and it will attempt to push the serial number to the Sprint database for you.

If the push is successful, you'll see that your unlocked iPhone will now be eligible for CDMA service, as well as Ting GSM. You will still need the ownership flag flipped (and I can still do that for you via Reddit). Once the flag is flipped, you should be good to activate on Sprint.

This isn't an exact science, and it won't always work. If it fails, you'll see that your phone can only get GSM service. To troubleshoot the issue further, you'll need to contact Sprint or your original carrier to get the phone unlocked.
Thanks very much! I will try when I get home. Only question is the ownership flag on Reddit? Not sure what you mean.

Update: Ting site shows eligible for 2g, 3G and 4G LTE but not CDMA. It's an A1662 SE

What are the chances Sprint extends the promo to 9/30/18 for people that already signed up? Honestly, I'd be willing to pay after that date if they offered 1/2 price plans or something. Jumping to $60 isn't worth it.

Hey guys and gals, I'm on the recently discontinued $30 5gig/100 minute talk plan from Tmobile. Anybody who was already on it is "grandfathered" in. Is it worth giving up for a year of Sprint unlimited?

Did your FP account have to be active to complete the port-in process? I have an old FP account that is deactivated but I can still log into the account and retrieve the PIN and account number. Do they send an email to complete the Sprint account details?

I am looking to port in two separate FP lines if they will work. Otherwise, I may try to port in a Google Voice number instead and pay to release the phone number.

TIA

I'm finally set up (port-in from H20 on AT&T network). It was indeed painful for me.

I used a Sprint SIM in my Nexus 6 that I had previously used with R+ in my Nexus 6 (yes, I am a cheap slickdealer). The SIM stubbornly tried to insist on using my previous R+ number, but Sprint Tech Support did get to the bottom of the issue with my help.

Was it worth it? Time will tell, but I get a year to try out Sprint in my geo on my secondary device.

Was anyone able to swap to a sprint phone after the initial activation with an eligible phone?

Given that nearly all sprint phones are ineligible for the 1 yr offer. I have a sprint samsung galaxy s6 coming in on Monday.

I was told I would have to wait 120 days to "upgrade my device". YMMV?

Lol so did I. Apparently by "upgrade" they mean via device payment/lease thru Sprint. However, you can only upgrade w/out repercussion if you pay full price. Last week I was able to swap to an "eligible" Verizon iPhone 7 plus on these lines. Never swapped to a Sprint branded phone not on the list of eligible phones.
