Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You would have to pay an unlocker to "clear the FED."

Yeah you should have used your time to research Tello. It is a Sprint mvno so it won't matter if you get an American or Martian, it won't port to Sprint. Did you even check the number on the eligibility checker?
I did research Tello and the Wiki and the comments. I know Tello is a Sprint MVNO but other people have ported Tello numbers successfully for this promotion, and Sprint customer service told me Tello numbers were eligible.

I grew up around 1st and 2nd generation Filipino Americans in San Diego and understand the accents just fine.
This has got to be one of the stupider things I have ever read on SD. First if you live in San Diego then you are used to being around Mexicans and are used to these foreign accents. Not all of us live on the border of Mexico.

Second, if someone has been in this country for awhile, their accent has diminished with time especially if they are second generation FFS.

Shove your political correctness up your arse. No one cares. These PHILLIPINO/FILIPINOs are effing hard as hell to understand. They speak broken english with a thick, thick accent that those of us who don't live on the border of Mexico can't understand easily.

You are basically trying to port from Sprint to Sprint. It won't work. Go to the online sign up and enter imei and phone number. It will fail checker as ineligible. It probably will say "Ineligible, this phone does not qualify for this offer." This makes it seem like phone is failing but it is the phone number.

Sure it was Tello to sprint directly? Like another person said, I haven't seen that. I have seen Tello to TMobile or AT&T (usually prepaid) then to Sprint from there.

You're probably right. I'll try tomorrow and if that doesn't work I'll go to Plan B. Sprint customer service told me I could. They may be giving out bad information. If they're trying to build up their postpaid subscriber numbers they should be happy to do it.

It's not just the accent. They read from a script and are inflexible.

Don't waste your time. Just go with T-Mobile prepaid or freedompop gsm.

You people who are trying to activate that phone should listen to me and give up. Yes I know there are a few rare people who got their non-Sprint iPSE's whitelisted but they are the exception, not the rule. And the freakin' phone doesn't have Band 41 so you would not have a great experience anyhow.
Yes thanks for talking sense thru my thick skull!

They were giving bad info. Also if you were trying to use the phone that is active on tello that will also fail the checker.

Are you sure it's the accent? What I don't like about some of non-US based representatives is that they just keep talking with their script without listening to you, so I feel like I'm talking to some trained parrot.

Totally, they have to read from a script because they can't understand what you are saying since their English is so poor and they keep repeating back at you everything you say as if that somehow means they understand it, lol!

The accent prevents me from understanding them.

That too, but that is because they can't understand you.
