Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

What's with all the csr hate around here? Am I just getting lucky or are people just getting really bad ones? Don't get me wrong I prefer American any day but if I had to pick, I'd take a Filipino accent over an Indian one. I've had two experiences with them so far, the initial to setup my account and one at a later date to add a line. Both times the call took less than 10 minutes and the ladies were nice and friendly.

As long as they understand you, it doesn't matter that much about their accents right? You just need to clearly read to them the IMEI, the SIM's ICCID, your phone number, name, account number from where you are porting, account pin, last 4 digits. They always read back the numbers just to make sure it's correct and input it into their systems. My most recent line added was completed in less than 15 minutes from when the port finished and fully activated.

Sprint basic phones don't use SIM cards, they are 3G phones.

Definitely yes, if your sprint phone was not basic, but smartphone. Not sure if sprint allows basic phones on plans with data meant for smartphones. I know Verizon does not.

You can have basic phones on the Verizon plan and on new UDP. Same $20/mo line access fee as the smartphones.

Are there different kinds of SIM I'm not aware of beside the size factor (nano, micro, etc.)?

If so, which SIM kit am I supposed to get in-store for this deal?

I came across a couple of people saying they need to return to the store to exchange to the right SIM when failing to activate over the phone.

Dude read, that is the problem a lot of them CANNOT understand you. They are reading scripts.

Dude again READ. I can't understand them due to their accents. How the EFF can I communicate with someone who I can't understand??!?!?! OF COURSE I can't.
What are you trying to tell them and vice versa? It's not like I'm trying to discuss quantum theory with them. They should just be asking for your info and you read to them your info which is mostly numbers and they read it back to you to see if they got it right. I get that they have scripts which they read, but the thing is every info about the plans are already stated in this thread. Don't bother asking advanced questions, just say "I want to sign up or add a line to the bring your old device free plan." They ask for your info, you give it to them. Are they not even able to pronounce "name", "pin", "number", "account number" in a way that you can understand?

That's for this deal only. I am already on Sprint. I have had customer service issues and I get these off shored reps and it is a nightmare to have to deal with them. One time it was about returning a phone, impossible to communicate in English with these foreign reps.

Reps to edog11 if this helps.
This helped a lot. It didn't work until I went in and deleted H2O profile but after that it did the magic. Thank you!

Ordered SIM on Tuesday, delivered Thursday, activated Friday. I read through this thread so I had H2O acct # and PIN handy already. Could not imagine before this deal I could port from H2O and get cheaper service.

Curious. What phone are you using?
Whaaat! A Sprint rep giving out bad info! Shut the front door!

Do you know if flag has been flipped to sprint side? If not, contact LiterallyUnlimited. Then try a swap over chat.
iPhone 7.
After wasting last couple of days on this, I finally figured it out. During activation or carrier settings update they download "lte apn" profile on to your phone which doesn't give you access to lte. Go to settings>>profile, delete the lte apn profile and restart your phone.
Hope this helps!
