Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Is there any way to activate a boost prepaid phone that is currently on ting?
Port the number to a carrier other than Ting CDMA and pay an unlocker to clear the FED.

All set for one year of "cheap" service on the Sprint network. If my phones were "paid off" I would switch all five of my lines from Verizon to Sprint.
Port them to TMobile for #GetOutoftheRed to get them paid off, then port from TMobile to Sprint.

I got charged for the $45 plan for the first month. Is this normal? It shows the correct plan now, but could I get a refund for that first month charge?
It's not normal. Call to get a refund.

I know that Sprint Prepaid phonesMoto E2 and LG Tribute Duo (previously on R+) showed 'not eligible' for signing up for new 1YFBYOD account.

I and a couple of other people are asking if these 'Prepaids' are eligible for swap after the free line is set up.

LiterallyUnlimited said that he cannot flip the flag for Sprint Prepaid phones.

Someone asked if they clear FED. It clears both Ting and Swappa. Not sure what/where else to check 'FED cleared'.

I am not sure what is the issue with using these phones: 1) flag or 2) FED or 3) something else! The question is still open.

Quote from dealwars :
There is the FED check and then there is the inventory flag.

Is the Moto E listed as an eligible device for this promo?
Quote from hodaddy :
Do you know if flag has been flipped to sprint side? If not, contact LiterallyUnlimited. Then try a swap over chat.

Try sickw.com sprint lost/stolen checker. If it says unpaid bills it probably didn't pass FED.

I got two phones finally signed up. I already have Sprint service through the old SERO program (as does my wife) and they wouldn't let me sign up with my name. I got my father on board (he is getting one of the phones). I got a g4 and an e4 unlocked off Amazon, set them up with AT&T $2 plan, called in to get the account number, and then called Sprint. They sent me sim cards, but I also bought one of the BOOST mobile packs and that worked for the e4 (it uses a nano sim and Sprint sent me the larger ones). 2 hours on the phone later I had 2 lines set up.

I am now trying to set up an Iphone SE that I bought on swappa. It is locked to Sprint and so I could not set it up on AT&T like I did the other ones. I have a Tello plan, but was told it wouldn't port over because it is a Sprint reseller.

My question is: is there a plan that can be activated on a Sprint branded iPhone that will then port over for this plan. I know now I should have got an unlocked iPhone. I may just do that if there is no other option and resell the Sprint iPhone.

When I called today I was also told that the promotion was extended through September.

Thanks to all posting on this forum. My father and daughter will be very excited to have phones and service. Where I live (Sacramento) Sprint service is pretty good.

Get a google voice number and unlock for $3. Set voicemail pin to use as account pin.

If the sprint iPhone is not active on sprint line it should work.

Enter sprint iPhone imei and GV number or any other non sprint mvno number into eligibility checker to verify that it works.

It it doesn't work then the phone possibly has mvno flag attached to it.

So I received a "Welcome to Sprint" phone call from someone a week after joining. Ironically, the call went straight to voicemail, so I couldn't complain about the very problem I'm having. They've got a crack team running things over at Sprint

Sprint will simply refuse to activate a phone that was originally a prepaid model unless it served out a full year (or whatever term is required) on a prepaid division of Sprint itself.

Even if it spent years on RingPlus, Swappa, etc. without problems because of loopholes, this cuts no ice at all with Sprint Postpaid.

I tried for hours with them on the phone regarding a Tribute HD that had been on FP, RingPlus, Ting etc. They re-evaluate from scratch and police this jealously. It makes no difference to them whatsoever that it worked fine (and still can) on Ting, FP, RingPlus etc. You will get nowhere. They told me the SPCS/PLBL flag was not the only problem they had with the phone. If it were the only problem, they would have been willing to reset it. The phone also appears to be "FED clear" judging by the fact it can activate fine on any MVNO. But they look right back to how it started out life and whether it ever served out a full term on the original intended Sprint prepaid subsidiary.

Now, whether you can swap them in, I do not know, but I doubt it.

Thank you for the detailed reply. Once Sprint rejected the prepaid phones as not eligible for opening 1YFBYOD, I did not try further.

This is a different question. Can you swap it in? Still unanswered.
If anyone knows about SWAP IN of Sprint prepaid phones, please chime in.

Thanks for the link but sickw check is not free. They require a small payment few cents. No problem but their minimum recharge amount is $20+5%. No way! Any other Free or low cost FED check?
