Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Yeah, Sprint Charges 1.99$ Admin Fee on each line + 911 Fees in your area + Taxes on 5$ , it comes roughly 3.5~5$ / line

You can read more at https://www.sprint.com/en/support...-on-y.html

And check Wiki at top of this deal, it lists average bill for people by zipcode

Check it is listed something like this

98003 - $3.81 - 4-5 Mbps - Yes - 1 line
98052 - $3.75 - 10Mbps - Yes - 1 line
99163 - $16.85 (5 lines) -
06488 - $3.13 - 10Mbps - Yes (for free) - 1 line
08901 - $17.30 - 5Mbps Down / 2Mbps Up - Recommended - 5 lines (if you have multiple lines, the 2nd monthly bill has the correct amount)
94133 - $5.83 - 10Mbps - Yes - 1 line (Bay Area taxes smh)
Thanks. I didn't see that list. It didn't register what the dollar amount was for. Brain dead as usual. But I am actually glad they refused to activate my nexus 5. I'm serous when I say that that $5 a month is too much to pay for sprint service in my area. I had it 4 years ago before I switched to T-Mobile. And if I wasn't connected to wifi my phone was useless other than for voice and text. Data was so slow even email sync would time out. And forget about streaming video or even music. I honestly don't know how people even use sprint.

I live in Upstate NY and the first line cost me $4.13. I've added a second line and it will be interesting to see what it runs for two lines. Anyone from NY with two lines?
The second line should cost you $4.13 also, so $8.26 for two lines.

Quote from dave8686 :
Wait. So it's not free? Frankly $4.13 a month is more than I'm willing to pay. When i had sprint 4 years ago it was practically useless. I was only doing this since it was free.

Hell my T-Mobile plan only costs me $16 a month per line total. And it actually works.
It's not fully free, you just have to pay the admin fees and government taxes.

Just talked to a rep a few minutes ago. He can not confirm or deny the extension, but he did start off the call with "You added your phones just in time".
The Offer website has changed back to "savings until 7/31/18" from 9/30/18 .

so question .. what about if we want to change our phone. I know theres an option to buy a phone in full but will that affect our plan? do they only take the imei numbers to check if its compatible with their network.. on the phone she assured me i can swap sim cards no problems nothing would affect the promo, but i just wouldnt be able to buy a phone in installments before 10/1 even though the site is telling me i am eligible for an upgrade now lol.. what if for example you bought an unlocked phone and tried putting your sim card in it....

also anyone have any experience with unlocked sprint phones.. like if you buy a phone from sprint even in full how do you unlock them? or are they a pain to unlock it for you? i was thinking of buying a blackberry keyone eventually .. i know these have all bands for all carriers but wondering if it would work on all carriers if unlocked or has sprint done something to mess around with it. Thanks!

So just curious if anyone's plan details in their account profile shows the plan valid as until 9/30/18? Mine shows up as 7/31/18 as was stated in the original promotion..

Because of the same list you glanced over, as you can see some people are easily in the double digits for speed. $4-5 for almost comparable speeds at a quarter of the cost is well worth it to many. Also Sprint barely had LTE 4 years ago since they made the mistake of going with Wimax. Not saying that it isn't still bad in some areas but people warning others about their coverage experiences with any provider more than even a year ago is kinda pointless.

I failed the checks on the web form, but got a letter a few weeks later saying I could still verify my identity and continue.
There was a phone number on the letter that it said to call, but calling it just told me to go to a store.

After going to a Sprint corporate store ("Authorized Resellers" need not apply, oops), I was able to get an account created.
Since the site expects you to not have an account, I had to call in order to get the offer.

The process took a while, mostly from getting a SIM that would be listed as able to work, but I eventually got the offer applied.
If you happen to show up at a not-busy time, then it can probably go a lot faster.

Going to run around for a while and see how coverage is in my area.
On the plus side of all this, since I was at a store already and the SIMs were uncooperative, I managed to get a SIM from them at no cost.

The rep I spoke to about a half hour ago said the offer was being extended another month. As usual, YMMV.
