Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

worry about the extra 2 months after 1 year. lol
More like worry about not getting $90+ of savings that was promised.

Not everyone is as as rich as you to be able lol at other people trying to live frugally on a money saving website.

How is that possible they just sent me $1100 gc the past couple months and I paid total of less than $300 in bills for four months. And there's another $250 gc coming from this free plan.

yeah, it can. He ports out. Once it's complete and available on another service. He ports back in. It's been mentioned any number of times already. They didn't say you have to be a new customer. Just you have to port in a new line.
I have been following this thread from the beginning and I haven't seen anyone be able to port out and back in using the same SSN and get a free line. They ported back into an account with a different SSN.

You agreed to Sprint terms and conditions. "We can, without notice, suspend or terminate any Service at any time for any reason."
Be happy with the one year and hope Sprint makes it that long.

maybe I just missed that being said then. I've seen a number of people mention porting their lines out to port back in, but haven't seen anyone mention having to use someone else to setup the new account. Frown

If you try to use the SSN that was on the original account, they simply reactivate the original account and put you on a paid plan. You cannot port out and then back in using the same SSN and get the free plan.

If they didn't do it this way, then every Sprint customer could get free service. If your SSN is attached to a paid plan, you cannot get this free plan using your SSN even if you port out and then back in.

My Dad was the lone holdout when moving 4 of 5 lines from T-Mobile to Sprint. He loves his T-Mobile branded LG G2. I told him if he stays there with a single line his bill will be high. I was right of course, and Mom is going to force him to get a new phone and move to Sprint. I suggested the Moto E4. Similar in size and easy to use.

Question: If a hard credit pull to create a new account is no problem (using his info) is it easier to do that or add a line to the *free* Sprint plan we already have established?

I don't want to run all over town looking for the right SIM card, so I would be ordering the correct SIM in the OP for the Moto E4 direct from Sprint. I honestly don't feel like sitting on the phone forever to add a new line and have them accidentally screw my plan up.

TLDR; Is it easier to add a line to existing free plan or set up a new one for my Dad?

Do they send the right SIM for the Moto E4 when signing up online?
