Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Yes. September.
Telesales rep I spoke with said until the end of Sept., others on this thread have said end of Aug. The wording on the website now says: "Hurry, limited time offer."

That worries me they could pull it at any time or until they reach a certain number of subs. I wonder if they've made a definitive decision how long this will last till.

I tried to add a line via porting a Google Voice number on a newly purchased unlocked Motorola E4. The first time was with a CSIM V1 SIM which as many have noted here does not work. SPRINT sent me 2 new SIM cards within 2 days, one was the same one and the other was the ISIM V1 activation kit SIMOLW416Q which has been reported as working in this thread.

I called again and Sprint also sent me an email saying the activation was complete. However, I still get the same "Invalid SIM card" error message from the Moto E4.

Any suggestions, or is the phone itself defective?
Quote from moonbagel :
Buy the Boost sim card kit from Best Buy, it's compatible with the E4
Quote from edog11 :
Double check your account and make sure the imei(E4) and iccid(sim#) match your E4 and sim card#(iccid) installed.
I am using the same SIM: SIMOLW416Q w/ Moto-E4. I had the same issue...now, it fixed.

Pls call the Port-in Supporting team; 877-503-3269. They will have to refresh your device profile on their system. You 'll have to shutdown your phone, while the tech-support guy is on the phone w/ you. Then, the tech-support will tell you to power up your phone. The "Invalid SIM card" message will be disappeared.

Good lucks...

So I have a Sprint branded Samsung Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710) that was originally on Sprint postpaid

I switched it to ringplus then to ting then to tello then swapped it out via "change device" (so it's now inactive)

Why will it not work for this promo? It passes swappa and is all paid up, thanks
Put the IMEI number in via the promo link and it'll tell you whether or not it's valid

Must be either a stupid MVNO flag or Sprint's FED...!!!

Try to talk/chat w/ Sprint Tech support team...they are very good on fixing this kind of issue.

Thanks a ton. He flipped flag. I will try calling Sprint tonight.
Hi, I have the same problem with my Samsung S6 Edge. Was it easy to get him to help with the flipping?
Thanks.

There is a list of phones that are eligible for the promotion. You can't activate any other phones beside those phones.

Elsewhere in this thread others reported phones not on the list that worked.

thanks, that's 3 months to think it over! Still on the fence but I could fall off in a month.
Just do it. I'm surprised you haven't signed up already. If you were one of rinplus' biggest fans before you should love this deal. Unlimited data, no "research" throttling to dial-up speeds, no member+ or $40+ top-ups, and none of the other crazy shenanigans and hoops to jump through lol.

thanks, that's 3 months to think it over! Still on the fence but I could fall off in a month. It must be working for Sprint:

Shares of Sprint jumped nearly 11% this morning after the carrier posted its first quarterly profit in three years and added 88,000 net postpaid subscribers. But the carrier shed very little light on prospects for a potential tie-up with another major player. http://www.fiercewireless.com/wir...d-earnings
Most of these additions might be due to free service. Smilie

except there are monthly fees to maintain this and I'd likely leave data on the table I didn't use. I'm using less than 200MB on Tello $8/mo. I'm rooting for the small guy, but there are no guarantees in the MVNO biz. It would be funny if Ringplus came back in some form but they burned a lot of bridges.
I probably have at least two phones that are truly unlocked, the Prime Moto G4 and the fabulous Nexus 6. I just need to get them off Tello first, swaps are free and I have no shortage of R+ phones.

This is with the SIM SIMOLW416Q which has the Boost logo on it.

As another test, I tried inserting the SIM from my activated Moto G5 Plus into the Moto E4 and it gave me the same "Invalid SIM" and further said "SIM has been locked". I got a bit nervous but I was able to reinstall the SIM in the G5+ which is working fine (on Sprint).
