Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

There is a list of phones that are eligible for the promotion. You can't activate any other phones beside those phones.
That is completely false.
Any unencumbered Sprint postpaid phone will work, but if they have been used on an mvno, they will be rejected until the ownership flag is first reset to SPCS.
(Phones originally sold for Sprint prepaid divisions cannot be activated at all unless they were used for a year there).

lol...listen ....as i and numerous others have said..sprint will tell u anything

as soon as the website states "offer expires aug 31"...come back and post the deal is good through the end of this month....till then..well u know the rest..
Aug 31 still have four weeks. While anything can change, Sprint can go out of business, sprint can cancel this free plan one year, you can win a jackpot.

So stop living in clouds. I just reported what is true according to their reps as of today. Get a life.

Do some basic research man at least 100 posts where to get sim cards. Try Best Buy, Sprint store, Twigby. Sim is SIMOLW416Q.

thanks, that's 3 months to think it over! Still on the fence but I could fall off in a month. It must be working for Sprint:

Shares of Sprint jumped nearly 11% this morning after the carrier posted its first quarterly profit in three years and added 88,000 net postpaid subscribers. But the carrier shed very little light on prospects for a potential tie-up with another major player. http://www.fiercewireless.com/wir...d-earnings
BTW, that's only 2 months, but hey! Who's counting.laugh out loud

It really depends on how you interpret this:

When can I upgrade to a new phone on this promotion?
If you signed up for the offer before 8/1/17, you can upgrade to a new Sprint phone by leasing or purchasing it in monthly installements after 10/1/17, and you'll still enjoy your free year of service. Any upgrades prior to 10/1/17 will require a plan change to Unlimited data, talk and text and you'll lose the remaining free months in your year of free service.

If you signed up 8/1/17 or later, you can upgrade to a new Sprint phone by leasing or purchasing it in monthly installements after 12/1/17, and you'll still enjoy your free year of service. Any upgrades prior to 12/1/17 will require a plan change to Unlimited data, talk and text and you'll lose the remaining free months in your year of free service.

But if you just buy your own phone and swap it in maybe you are ok. Perhaps that does not count as an "upgrade" since you aren't leasing or purchasing it in monthly installments from Sprint.
This guy gets it. 👍👍👍

Correct a swap is not an upgrade.
Well, actually, you could swap in a Sprint upgrade offer phone, but that is not what you are proposing to do.

People should not be asking Telesales about simple swaps. Simple BYOD swaps are just technical support items at most. Numerous people have done them without problem.
Telesales, on the other hand, is a sales machine trained to encourage paid upgrades. To a hammer (Telesales), everything looks like a nail (a potential paid upgrade to some phone they sell, with a nice sales commission).

I guess it depends on the rep you get... I activated a phone for my father with this plan last month and it turned out that there was an issue with the phone and it would not activate properly. It was a phone I bought from Amazon... When the replacement came and I wanted to switch the activation to the new phone they wanted to force me out of the free year plan... It took a lot of convincing to let them know that the first phone was never activated because it didn't work.
