Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Does anyone know the tax & surcharge fees Sprint will charge for Philadelphia area? I have five lines with Cricket right now for $100/month but not sure how much Sprint will charge each line for the tax if I transfer.
My friend from bryn Mawr says his 4 lines cost $16.50 ish on the second bill I'm not sure if that included some prorated charges on some add a lines after first bill generated. His third bill next month will be more accurate for four lines.

I promise I am reading trying to figure this out. I had read that you lose the program if you switch phones before 120days now I saw you can switch???I do not mind getting a cheap phone temporairly. But I would like to do this asap. ?And I guess its not GSM that works with Sprint? Been trying to find a cert refurb iphone 7. Wish I knew for sure this lasts thru Sept as I do know 7 price will lower when 8 comes out.
And yes l'm one of those old people who appreciates people who are willing to help!

Several people tried and were denied but one poster claims they were able to do it after a rep "reset" their old account, whatever that means.

I ran a few comparison speed tests today away from home. Here are the download results :

Sprint 50mbps
AT&T 25mbps
Verizon 1mbps

Usually its the opposite trend but that just shows you its really location dependent

I ordered a SIM online during the weekend and received the order confirmation. After reading through massive 500+ pages, secured a free SIM card from local Apple Store. Taking a chance, I tried www.sprint.com/activatenow with free SIM card, and it worked! I was able to be able to activate my phone with free SIM card, received Sprint Welcome letter and PIN, and created profile/account accordingly. (BTW, my phone is still not working as port-in from FP is still pending).

Now, I am wondering, since my SIM order is still not processed (weekend!), is it wise to cancel the SIM order to save almost $15. But, I am unsure whether it will jeopardize my 1-yr free plan. I chatted with Sprint online chat and call multiple CSRs, they were not very helpful. They were more confused than me!

Anyone has any insight?

Sprint has the worst coverage, ironically, the largest spectrum holdings among big four. If you have band #41 coverage, your download speed will rock, as Sprint MC (multi-carrier) LTE (aka Sprint Advanced LTE) has up to 60MHz bandwidth, compared to normal 20MHz bandwidth.

I was told from a customer service rep that if I swap device the promotion will no longer be valid and will switch to the paid plan. How long do you have to wait to be able to swap the device? I'm borrowing a friend's IMEI eligible device but I have an old Sprint phone I want to use after I get the initial activation of plan.

My second month bill is $23.40

Administrative Charge $ 9.95
Regulatory Charge $ 2.00
City 911 Tax $16.35
City Utility Tax $ 0.90
----------
$23.40
Just curious, how many lines do you have on your account? I'm also in SF, about to sign up for this deal.
