Bought the Boost SIM kit at Best Buy for the Moto E4 and had my Wife call to set up the line on our plan. CSR added the line and phone was working, unfortunately CSR set it up as Unlimited Freedom. She called back and new CSR said they made the change but it may take up to 5 days to see it. š¤
1. Make sure if adding an additional line to the BYOD plan they add it as a BYOD line, not the Unlimited Freedom.
2. If buying the Moto E4 from Amazon get the $99 with ads version, it is super easy to remove with a Windows PC and "Minimal ADB" from XDA.
Took over 30 days to approve and 26 days to credit to my bank.
today i called in and they pulled my credit. then checked the phone, and are now saying it is already on a sprint post paid account. they do not know when the account was opened nor have a number associated with it.
very frustrated.
The phone I bought (Motorola G4 Play for $74) was the last one available at Walmart. We drove an hour each way to buy it. I don't see any other stores with it. So I am looking on a few sites to see if I can find another phone on the list at a reasonable price.
I am hoping the first year free still works out for me. They already ran my credit before checking the imei # so there is already an account set up.

I got mine.
could I just remove the Moto xp from my sero account, keep that account open for the time being, start a new BYOD with the Moto then pull my sero # onto this account and then close sero? I'd essentially have the sero account open with no phone at first then no number.
- Moto G4 unlocked
- iPhone SE Verizon postpaid
- iPhone 6S Tmobile unlocked
Best I can tell, all these devices should be compatible, so what gives?Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
iPhone 5S from StrightTalk to Sprint - Successful. iPhone was unlocked by ST after completing 12 months. I did not do this online. I called customer care.
I had a extra SIM bought from below link. I did not pay for SIM.
