Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I have had 4 lines on BYOD plan for over a month, convinced the lone holdout on the Tmo plan to switch (high bill for one line did the trick).

Bought the Boost SIM kit at Best Buy for the Moto E4 and had my Wife call to set up the line on our plan. CSR added the line and phone was working, unfortunately CSR set it up as Unlimited Freedom. She called back and new CSR said they made the change but it may take up to 5 days to see it. 😤

1. Make sure if adding an additional line to the BYOD plan they add it as a BYOD line, not the Unlimited Freedom.

2. If buying the Moto E4 from Amazon get the $99 with ads version, it is super easy to remove with a Windows PC and "Minimal ADB" from XDA.

my 3X $100 credit union reward just posted on my bank. Waiting is over for me. Thank you Sprint Smilie
Took over 30 days to approve and 26 days to credit to my bank.
I wonder if the $ credit is tied to selected list of credit unions. My request was denied with reason: "Account is on an ineligible price plan". Do you care to mention the credit union yours is tied to?

i am not sure what happened. as i mentioned last week the imei number worked fine on the site.

today i called in and they pulled my credit. then checked the phone, and are now saying it is already on a sprint post paid account. they do not know when the account was opened nor have a number associated with it.

very frustrated.
Where did you buy ur phone? It is most likely someone used your MEID as a placeholder to hold a BYOD line (MEID is normally printed outside box). You can either return ur phone, or contract Sprint Fraud Department @ 888-788-0788. Tell them your MEID was stolen.

It's not tied to any credit union. I activated these 3 lines in June. Then I had 5 more lines after July. Only the first 3 lines got the referral and credit union rewards. Sprint changed its term saying free lines are not eligible in July.

You must have just been lucky/slipped through the cracks. My credit union offer and aa offer were both denied. I signed up as soon as this came out in June.

Oh! Maybe that is what happened! I will call them, thank you!

The phone I bought (Motorola G4 Play for $74) was the last one available at Walmart. We drove an hour each way to buy it. I don't see any other stores with it. So I am looking on a few sites to see if I can find another phone on the list at a reasonable price.

I am hoping the first year free still works out for me. They already ran my credit before checking the imei # so there is already an account set up.

all in same day? who did u port out to?
I used number barn. I started the process late Sunday evening and they said it would take place on Tuesday. I woke up Tuesday morning and my Sprint service was off. So Itt took about a day and a half or less for it to port out to number barn. Porting out of number back into Sprint took less than 5 min.

Anyone knows what happens when you add a phone that you purchase from Best Buy to your existing free BYOD Sprint plan? I'm trying to get the LG G6 phone from Best Buy but when I add it to my plan, it comes up at $0 for the plan?
Did you already pay Sprint the full balance and cancel your plan ?

Trying to get off a sero acct and move my Moto xp to the byod. I'd have to cancel my sero plan then resign as byod. How do I keep my number while doing this ? Need to port out to a prepaid? I have a Google voice #

could I just remove the Moto xp from my sero account, keep that account open for the time being, start a new BYOD with the Moto then pull my sero # onto this account and then close sero? I'd essentially have the sero account open with no phone at first then no number.

I tried 3 devices today and site said none compatible???
  • Moto G4 unlocked
  • iPhone SE Verizon postpaid
  • iPhone 6S Tmobile unlocked
Best I can tell, all these devices should be compatible, so what gives?

This is what worked for me:

iPhone 5S from StrightTalk to Sprint - Successful. iPhone was unlocked by ST after completing 12 months. I did not do this online. I called customer care.

I had a extra SIM bought from below link. I did not pay for SIM.
