Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I threatened Verizon that I would take 2 of my lines to Sprint a few months ago with this deal. They went ahead and gave me line access credit for both lines for 12 months. $480 savings for the year. It was going to be a $40 per month credit...but the system wouldn't accept the continuous credit...had to be manually added each month. so first month, they gave me $40...then this month, they took off $220. Then I have to call/chat next month to request the last $220.

We tried to switch to Sprint but there is a fine line on roaming and they threatened to kick us off if we got close to it the issue there is I travel across the US for vehicles and sprints service is shit so always roaming off Verizon towers so had to switch back to Verizon ..

Parents made the switch to Sprint without me knowing and drove up from Arizona and complained they didn't have service in many places there Verizon phones did and being in their 70s they need reception especially in many of the key places they stay so of course they made the switch back to Verizon

Do we like Verizon ? Years ago maybe but there service has also gone to shit but it's better then sprints

This may be good for someone else, but not for me.
So $120 is better than free??? You must be rich.

Wanted to share my experience with this deal. Last night I called the 866-782-8777 number and got a really cool rep in the Phillipines to help me out. I purchased a used Sprint 6S from ebay and was currently running an ATT 6S with a GoPhone account. The rep knew exactly what I wanted to do and walked me through the process. I re-used my "RingPlus" sprint sim card and it worked like a charm. For ATT GoPhone you have to call to get your 12-digit account number in order to port your number over. Toward the end of the call while I was chit-chatting with the cute rep, the call cut out and here the port completed. Only took 10 minutes. It was an easy process, other than the 7-minute wait for an ATT CSR. I'm now on this Free plan and so far so good.

Are you getting in this sprint deal? How many R+ phones you have left? Sold all the other day....I believe 6-7 sold them as a bundle
still on the fence about this offer. Happy with mellow Tello, a good fit for my modest budget and needs. It sounds like after high WA state taxes I'd be paying more monthly for more than I need. I'm also stress free with Tello, this deal makes me a bit nervous.

I should do something with my FP sims but they were strictly a backup plan. I'm also hanging onto my R+ phone collection for now. They hold their value for me in case another deal comes along like the Tello free refills. I feel like I should support them, giving back a little and hope they succeed

I might flip a few on CL but it get's old explaining stupid Sprint Prepaid. If I can't double my money I don't bother. I like those $20 Tribute HD but they still suck at wifi, like dual band confuses them. All my phones are still mint, in cases and turned off so they should last awhile.

After only 4 days, I got my first bill.

08/25/17 - 08/25/17 CHARGES
$58.80
AutoPay for $58.80 on 09/18/17

But it does say under details
Unlimited Talk, Text and Data. Line 1: $65 ($10 savings until 9/30/18); Line 2: $45; Lines 3-5: $35 (Free until 9/30/18 w/AutoPay);

Will chat tomorrow to get those charges removed.
The thing is when I was trying to activate the SIM card online, it won't let me do it. I chatted with the Customer Service agent and was told the website was down. He activated it manually for me and apparently activated a regular plan for me. That's why I was billed the full amount.
The SIM card was ordered from promo webpage. That's why I didn't call to activate.
I do have the chat history in email that the CS agent confirmed that I will have a free year of service, so I hope my issue will be solved. I am still trying to get my plan changed to the correct one and I have faith in the Sprint customer service for now. They said my bill will be fixed in about 5 biz days and my plan will be changed back to free one year service.

For those who want to jump in the deal and haven't done it already. Please call to activate to save the hassle I had to go through.

Zip Code: 91748
The Sprint Coverage generally is OK, close to my Cricket plan when outdoor, but the indoor reception is significantly worse .
Data transfer speed is really great when the coverage is good. 40Mbps Down/ 8Mbps Up
Not bad given it is only a couple dollars a month, but I definitely would not pay full price for it.

"If you would like to get a SIM locally to save time and $10 shipping you have to call the Promo number @ 866-782-8777 to set up service and activate your line"

I quote from the wiki. How are people getting the SIM locally ? From Sprint store ? Or third party like amazon ?
Can people who done this that way give an idea How much did it cost ? Thanks
I bought mine through Amazon. It was a third party company selling through Amazon, was able to get it shipped under Amazon Prime with same day shipping for $5.99. Came out to $14.49 total with shipping. Didn't want to drive around town hoping to get a free sim from Sprint, Best Buy, Apple, etc though I've heard that people have had successs doing so. I just thought that with my luck I'd end up having to pay if I went that route. 2 day shipping would have been for free (as long as you have Amazon Prim) but I wanted the sim as soon as possible since I wasn't sure when this deal will end. I I waited for the 2 day free shipping the price of the sim would have been $8.50. When getting a some make sure you get the right size (Nano, micro, standard) that will fit your SIM card slot on your phone and the right model sim depending on what type of phone your have (iPhone, android, etc).

Good luck activating!

I switched to Sprint with this deal. I live in Atlanta, but I had to come to the Upoer Peninsula of Michigan for an extended period of time due to a family emergency. The coverage map says 3G up here, but it is roaming. So I used majority roaming data and they cut off my data. I haven't had a chance to call and bitch yet because of the family emergency.
