CSR said I could pick up the Sim from the store. The store said they don't stock Sim cards for 2 year old phones. They gave me a free Sim which they said was more of a general purpose Sim that's not specific to my phone. They warned me it may not work. Sure enough when I called back CSR and read back the IMEI, the system wouldn't accept it.
The nexus 6(not international version) should work with sprint. The ICCID is the SIM card number, the IMEI is the phone id. The SIM card 446C and 506C(3-1 kit) should work.

Thanks. The Sprint store gave me a free sim kit 416C (they were going to charge $10 but changed their mind for some reason). They said there's a good chance it wouldn't work. Sure enough it didn't get accepted by the CSR. They seemed confused about what to give me in the store and said they don't normally have sims for specific models over 2 years old. I'll ask the store for one of the two you say to get.

Has anyone had luck with porting out of Ting? Like they keep saying mine is not eligible when it's a Sprint unlocked iPhone SE.
You can't port from Ting unless you're using their GSM service and not CDMA. Their CDMA service uses Sprint's network.

For those that signed up before 8/1, we're supposed to be able to upgrade after 10/1.
Quote :
If you signed up for the offer before 8/1/17, you can upgrade to a new Sprint phone by leasing or purchasing it in monthly installements after 10/1/17, and you'll still enjoy your free year of service. Any upgrades prior to 10/1/17 will require a plan change to Unlimited data, talk and text and you'll lose the remaining free months in your year of free service.

If you signed up 8/1/17 or later, you can upgrade to a new Sprint phone by leasing or purchasing it in monthly installements after 12/1/17, and you'll still enjoy your free year of service. Any upgrades prior to 12/1/17 will require a plan change to Unlimited data, talk and text and you'll lose the remaining free months in your year of free service.
So since the iPhone X isn't going to be available to pre-order unitl the end of October, we should be eligible to upgrade to it on a monthly payment plan through Sprint, Best Buy, Apple, etc. Correct?

Only issue is my upgrade eligible date is showing 2019. I wonder if that'll get reset on 10/1???

I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 for MetroPCS from previous Slickdeals deal.

I have unlocked successfully.

Anyone know if I can use it on Sprint in conjunction with this offer? I didn't try IMEI on Sprint web site yet as I don't have it to hand today.

The Lumia 950 xl dual sim is not on their list of phones. (Not surprised) If i say I have a phone that is on their list and get the sim card, could I use it on my Lumia as the 2nd sim card?

Nope, lumia 950 GSM only. The only lumia that works on sprint is the 635.

I opened an account around first week of July and ported in a second number about a week back. The first line is showing upgrade eligible on jul 1st 2019 and the second one sep 1st 2019. Is anyone else having the same issue? I expected it to be 10-1-2017 n 12-1-2017.

It's been about 2 weeks and I haven't run into any issues. Obviously that is 100% dependent on where you live. I want to pick up the Essential Phone while it's 50% off but it'll kick me off the free plan Frown

50%? And why will it kick you off the free plan?

I am a tello user and had trouble getting this deal. I called the promotion number 866-782-8777 three times and still not able to get it done. I am very honest and told them I am using tello which used sprint network. Is this the reason? Is tello absolutely not qualified for this promotion? Thanks for any advice.

50% off when you lease. And because you have to be on this plan for 3 months before you can get into any financial agreements or upgrade a phone.

Lease? That's an awful deal.
