This is consistent with my experience in St Louis. T-Mobile (when you have a signal) is a lot faster than Sprint whereas Sprint has signal everywhere. Still no comparison to Verizon...
Eh. When I had Verizon it felt like a mix. You get great coverage but speeds were super random.

Does anyone know whether the five lines under the Sprint free one year plan are all independent of each other. So, if I cancel or port away the very first line I created under this plan, will the other lines still continue to be still in the one year plan.

The reason I am asking is that, in Verizon one of the lines is designated as primary. If you port away that line, then the account is in jeopardy.

So, trying to be sure that if I have three lines and if I port away the first line, the other two lines will continue to unharmed under the 1 year free plan.

Eh? Shouldn't Verizon just ask which remaining line becomes primary? That's how TMobile and att does it.

Anyone can recommend a phone that qualifies eligibility list that is available for purchase at store or online? Frys has one for $190 to $200 but not sure yet.

Thanks.
Moto E4 is about the cheapest. Frys had it for $99 last week, but I think price went back up to $129 now. It is pretty widely available.

I'm sure you can pick any line as primary or they will pick it for you if you ported out the main line. I have had family plan with all big 4 provider. Never had this issue.

U can call VZW to designate whatever line as your primary line.

I saw the updated phone list. sim free iphone 8 will not work on free plan? only verizon version works?
They list the Verizon version just to make sure you don't try to bring the AT&T or T-mobile versions, since those lack CDMA. SIM-free should work as well, assuming the SIM-free version is the Verizon/Sprint model (which it should be).

I was hoping for a more concrete answer than "could end any time...", because I have to folk out $1k to buy a few phones. I guess this deal is not for me.
