But extended network roaming isn't limited to 100mb, is it?
Really makes no difference. Network roaming blows and hardly works. I have roamed extended network and it was soo slow it was worthless. The only thing you can do with it is receive email after being on it for a period of time.

Quote from Binar :
is this coming with free international roaming?
The Free Plan is not eligible for Premium International Experience. It looks like you can select it on the web site but it will not take effect if you select it.

As noted in their FAQ:

Are international services included?
Yes, our 1 Year Free Unlimited plan includes Sprint Global Roaming, which includes data up to 2G speeds and text messaging in any of our 165+ Global Roaming countries at no charge, plus calling for just $0.20 a minute.

It does not include calling from the U.S. to international locations, but you can easily add international calling to your plan.

Looks like sprint and tmobile are trying to merge again. For those who get the free year you might get tmobile.. Pretty sweet.
Given that mergers that a long time from start to finish, the free BYOD will end prior to the actual merger completion. Even after the merger, the combined firm will still run separate CDMA and GSM networks until at least another 2 more years before the complete dismantling of CDMA

In short, even if a merger happens and is approved by the FTC it would be business as usual for customers of 2 separate and distinct companies.

Savings until 9/30/18; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 & $30/mo./line for lines 3-5. Reqs. AutoPay (discount applied w/in 2 invoices), new account, bring your own eligible device & Sprint SIM card. Savings claim compared to Verizon Go Unlimited rate plan for 1 line as of 8/23/17. Data deprioritization during congestion. Other monthly charges apply.**

seems you are really a insider... so it means it is going to merge for sure... i don't think so.. in news it says tmobile has not yet started reviewing sprint deeply... and tmobile's parent company will have major stake in combined company, if it happens. Agreed if it happens it will take more than a year to complete.

If you are really insider then can you please tell us how and what can we upgrade after 1-OCT...As of now it shows upgrade eligibility in 2019 whereas according to terms and conditions when we signed up in June told to wait only 90days to be eligible for upgrade.
I think it said 120 days for upgrade not 90. Only 12 days to 10/1. Let us know what you find out.

sure... perhaps it was 120 days from 1-Jun which completes on 1-OCT.
Someone suggested to wait for 3rd bill which i will get tomorrow or in 2 days... so if it does not change upgrade date then i will contact sprint and let you know what happens..
i think there are so many here who would be interested to get discounted phone from sprint considering good offers on iPhones and other phones.

do I have to port my Verizon number to Sprint to be eligible? I've already canceled my Verizon line last week. Frown (the phone number is currently parking on Google Voice)

Sprint is so incompetent, Been trying to port a # over for over a month and they still can't figure it out.
Spent over 20 hours on the phone with them so far, and they still can't figure it out. They keep saying they will contact the old carrier but they never do.
