I tried that and they told me that business lines are not eligible.
The business account plan says 'Unlimited something Lines 3-5 Free'. A 3rd line was added for free just a few days ago. I verified on the bill that it is in fact free.

This isn't my account but a family account which is why I don't know much about it. I didn't know it offered free lines. I was offered to takes lines 4 and 5 if I wanted which is why I'm trying to figure out if there's any difference between taking the free lines on that business account vs setting up a new account for this promo.

Sprint is so incompetent, Been trying to port a # over for over a month and they still can't figure it out.
Spent over 20 hours on the phone with them so far, and they still can't figure it out. They keep saying they will contact the old carrier but they never do.
Sounds like you are porting in. Which carrier? Freedompop?

My plan lasts until 7/31/18. If I add a new line will it still be until 7/31?

Any way to get the new 9/30/18 end date short of opening a brand new account with another social??

not really free if you need to transfer verizon number to Sprint.
1) doesn't have to be verizon

2) if you don't have a phone number that you can port to sprint... the deal isn't for you

You're right! It cost $2 to $5 each line. If that is too much for you then this deal is not for you.

Can I switch to a different sprint phone like Samsung s6 which is not in the list after signing up with a supported device? Anyone else tried that?

Can anyone reply , please? I want to put the sim in Samsung s6 sprint phone after activating on eligible device. Does that work?

Really you can activate any Sprint postpaid device in the first place without this swapping stuff. The eligible list is not exhaustive.

Call in and just try to add the S6 directly. It will activate fine on its own. Make sure you have the correct sim for that device. There are many different sims for different devices on Sprint.

Each device has to be eligible in its own right on Sprint. And each device has to have the sim that is correct for that device.

Yes, you can use a non-qualified inactive Sprint phone (flag set at SPCS) to replace the qualified phone you use to sign up for the plan.

Many SDers have done it including myself. I just did another one today.

True. Or you can just activate it on its own in the first place. Same thing. I have activated 3 Sprint phones not on the list.
