I had 2 lines (me & wife) on SERO and finally gave it up in June since they did away with subsidizes phones... no real reason to stay on that plan - they converted me to 5 lines for $90 (added the kids & have an extra line as well now) - will see what they offer to stay once my 1 yr is up on that promo

Did you use the note 8 to activate the free service?
Yes, I did. It's an unlocked Note 8 bought directly from Samsung.

I tried to sign-up using IMEI of a new moto g4 and phone number from my project Fi account. It says I am eligible for this offer. Any issue doing it this way?

Also after entering SSN, it tried to run the credit report and said credit report could not be verified. Please call some number. Anyone experienced this?

So if I sign up now, it is not really a full year of free service? Only until July 31st?

Just got my new Sprint Note 8 activated with this service. I used the sim that came with the phone from Samsung.

I used a Tmobile pay as you go account.

In my case I actived a different phone's imei than what I entered in the website during sign up. No issues.

I also had to call in and answer a few questions to verify my identity.

The one Sprint sent me after signing up over the phone (I tried signing up online, but it said I had to call to verify my credit).

Anyone in here tried using T-Mobile note 8 on sprint after unlocking it? I heard it won't work since it's not on sprint whitelisted imei. True?

Thanks. Already with Sprint customer care since last 1 hour, trying to sort it out. Will report back how it goes.

Nice deal and very easy to do. I recommend going to a Sprint Corporate store and picking up the SIM card yourself. If ordering the SIM card online be aware that someone has to sign for it. The SKU for the BYOD Sim Activation Kit is 760492034500. Hard to mess up since the packaging says Bring Your Own Device CSIM Activation Kit. Once you have the SIM call 866-782-8777 and tell them you are ready to activate with the BYOD 1 year free service. Took about 25 minutes to do over the phone. Just have your current service account number and pin. I went online to Verizon and reset my pin before calling just to make sure i give them the correct one.

You can easily create Verizon numbers with MVNO Redpocket without paying anything. Then port the Redpocket number out to Sprint.

Done.
