Does anyone know when this ends? I'm paid up with total wireless through mid December, but not sure if I should chance waiting. I'm sure the offer can change at any time but is there an end period listed somewhere that I've missed? TIA

Decided to jump on this deal since its only a few bucks a month -- never had Sprint postpaid service so no problems with credit check over the phone

Ported in a spare Cricket line on Tues and the port was done in 10 mins -- today my online account shows $3.61 due (zip 60077)

Used my Moto G4 with universal 506C SIM (free SIM from few months ago) -- lucked out with a US based rep so everything was done correctly in about 25 mins. The rep did ask where I got my SIM card (told him Sprint website) and what carrier I was porting from (told him AT&T to keep it simple since AT&T owns Cricket) -- had to answer extra security questions for a manual credit review with another rep before getting approved

Went ahead and bought a new phone today and ported in a 2nd Cricket line -- this port was done in 10 mins as well. Got a Moto E4 with Boost triple SIM kit from BB (used the 416Q SIM) -- got an overseas rep this time but the call was done in 9 mins since I was just adding a line to an existing account

Boost triple SIM kit comes with SIMOLW416Q + SIMOLW506C + SIMOLW506TQ inside there

Yea I noticed they ask where people got the sim for some reason. Not sure why they care.

Probably they can assume it is the right sim for your phone if you got it from Sprint. Otherwise they have to check if you got the right part number.

Or it could be sort of the other way around. If you got it from Sprint, they have to check if Sprint already set up an account for you when sending you the sim (as they apparently do)..

Now that I'm ported over, can I stick the sim in another Sprint-branded phone or one of the phones on their white list?

Sprint is primarily IMEI based for registration/activation.

You can swap one phone for another through tech. support chat if the new phone has the correct part sim in it (which is not necessarily the same sim part as your original phone). There are many different sims required depending on the phone. They need the new IMEI number and the sim ICCID number that is in the new phone. It could be the same sim if the two require the same sim part number. and you choose to move the sim.

But you cannot accomplish a swap without activating/registering the new IMEI in place of the old one.

Anyone know how to see usage of both lines on the dashboard? Don't want to create a separate login -- do I just need to wait it out?

I can see usage of my 1st line, but 2nd line doesn't show up on there -- I can see both lines in account preferences so they're on the same account (2-step account verification also shows both lines+email as an option to text security code to)

check on-line and the account shows what was promised

For new users:
get a Tmobile card and activate a pay as you go account...SIM should be free (just ask for one..you might have to go diferent places to get it free)
Don't fund the account just get pin number and phone number (you'll need them later)
3-4 hours later call Sprint while you have a Sprint SIM ready (make sure you have a correct SIM..got it for $9 from BestBuy and free from Target) ..Sprint has many SIMs so make sure you have the correct one for your phone
Call in while you have promo ready
Provide everything Sprint agent needs from you and as account number provide your phone number with 1 in front
15 min later you should be able to make calls with your sprint account
i got a tmobile sim from the apple store. can I use that for the pay as you go account? do you just call the 1800 # to activate the phone and get a pin and phone #?
TIA

What happens if you are paying monthly for your phone through Verizon? Do I still owe them monthly to pay off the phone or do I have to pay a lump sum?

Use the app is much easier and updates quicker

If you cancel service the remaining amount is due so lump sum.

I pushed my luck yesterday.

I ported from a paid line on sprint to Tmobile at about 545pm.

I then went home had dinner and some liquid courage. I then called the promo number at about 730 pm to port the number back into the free BYOD plan. I gave them the imei and the SAME sim card as the one it had before. It was then updated 10 minutes later. No issues lol

Do you mind sharing how you got account and PIN #? I could activate a VZW flip phone and secure a phone #. But, I could not find port-out info.
Redpocket account number is the same as the telephone number. PIN is the last 4 digits of your number
