I need a sim card for my Moto G5 Plus. The last time I wanted to get a sim card from a local Sprint store, they wanted $20+ for it.
I got a 2.99 from a local store. I The rep was nice enough to scan and see which was compatible before selling it to me. After I paid for it he updated the prl for the g5 and it worked like butter. Sim part # simglw446c

i currently have T-mobile , purchased a Galaxy 7 Edge Sprint Version

Should I activate a verizon iphone first , and then swap ESN after the line is open, or can i just activate my sprint galaxy 7 edge from the get go ?

thanks in advance

I can't speak about the S7Edge but I ported a VZW iphone6 and it only took 10mins from the call to the phone being in service.

Has anyone had any success/trouble with the Motorola G5 Plus and Google Voice Sprint Integration on an existing GV account/tel. number?
Or do you get the message:
"Unfortunately, Google Voice cannot be enabled on this Sprint phone. Please contact Sprint for more details as to why this cannot be enabled."
Sprint tech seems to think that there is an issue with the G5+.

Also does GV forward calls to your G5+ and if it does, does it ring immediately or does it ring only once on the last ring before going to voicemail and you can not answer the call?
Or it does not ring at all sometimes?
I had this problem and am posting a reply for others who might have run into this.

You should manually dial *73 immediately followed by your GV number to initiate forwarding. The forwarding numbers that Sprint provided Google to set up and cancel forwarding are old/ incorrect. Use *73 and *730 to set up and cancel VM forwarding, respectively.

The error message in GV regarding the unavailability of Sprint integration just means that our new Sprint numbers won't integrate with GV such that everything will appear to come from one number for seamless use. Instead, GV will just continue to operate the way it has for us with other carriers, as 2 numbers-- our carrier and Google voice numbers.

Everything I have seen says it ends 9/30/17 and free service is good until 9/30/18. This is a great deal no matter how good the service in your area is so I jumped on.

I have 1 line open on this plan and approved for more. Will I be able to add free lines after promo ends?

Each Sprint store is different -- call stores in your area to see how much they'll sell it for

No need to mention the free service -- tell them you have a Moto G5 Plus and wanted to buy just the SIM card by itself
So what reason do you give to the store to get a SIM card if you can't mention this promo?

sprint stores are full of ass hats. No matter what you say there is a good chance they will not give you a card or try to sell you a BYOD kit for 25. I went to 6 different stores trying to get a card for my nexus 5x years ago. Got pissed and left sprint because of getting jerked around by commission based ass hats who don't give a flying fark unless they make money off of you.

Does just signing up today alert your current phone company, or only once you put the SIM card in and activate? I want to switch but have an account that is in contract until 9/28.

Depending on which Sim u need u can get it free from Apple store or local sprint store (sprint store may charge u 2.99 for a Sim,)
Since there are various sims for the different devices I guess the free sim option at apple stores only works for people with iphones - right ? Android and other eligible phones have to get it from the store I guess.

On a separate note how good is sprints international package added onto this plan for $15/month . On their website it says unlimited calls to India landline and mobile for $15/month. Is anyone else using it ? I need to make international calls often.

if you check the wiki there is a link to see which SIMS are compatible with each phone. So far I've activated a VZW iPhone 6 and got the sim from the Apple store. I got that same sim for the moto g5plus but realized it wasn't compatible so i went to the store. They will still port the line even if you have the wrong sim. you just have to get the correct one later. If you go to the store, bring your phone they are capable of checking which SIM is compatible with each phone. have them do that before you pay in case they charge you. Luckily the rep that helped me checked the $2.99 sims for compatibility before moving on to the $10 ones, though he was not willing to give it to me for free But 2.99 is a small price to pay for free service. Its YMMV on what help you can get at the store.
