It depends whether it's the model with Qualcomm chip that can be used for gsm and cdma networks, A1661 model. The ones sold at att and T-Mobile stores can only use on gsm networks, A1784 model.
Thanks! I'll look for the A1661 model then

since it ends on the 30th, i wanted to lock the deal in, used a place holder esn, and ordered online.

question, if the sale goes off on the 30th, can i add lines at the same discount plan since it's already
started, or will it have to only choose from what's available at the time?

If it's only India, you can try Rebtel $10/month unlimited India plan.
Thanks for the suggestion. Is it one of those services where you dial a local access number first and then country code + international number or is it direct dial ?

I direct dial now so was thinking if I could get something similar.

There are two different iPhone 7/7+ models in the US

Interesting. I was still thinking of the 6s where only a band was missing.
That kills the iPhone value for me.

You can create a local access number for your contacts and then dial them like a local number.
Otherwise it is same as dialing local access number, then 011 country code and then number.

Did you try the above? Go to the Google voice legacy page (desktop site) and check the box to allow forwarding to your cell. It's probably already checked from your last provider. I unchecked it, let it save, then rechecked it. Don't bother with the link that reads "check link for Sprint eligibility." We're not eligible as new Sprint users. Then click edit, and under carrier click check provider so that it says Sprint. Rename the box at the top if you like then hit save. Then, using the native phone dialer, dial *730 to make sure no forwarding is in place and then dial *73 followed by your GV# without a 1, just *732125551212, if your GV# were 2125551212. You can then return to the GV page to change your greeting to your personal greeting instead of the Sprint one it will likely default to. HTH This page might also have some helpful info https://community.sprint.com/t5/G...d-p/348100
Thanks for the update and the link.
I had seen the CF codes when I subscribed but wanted to wait to see if GV/Sprint Integration works but now this seems the best alternative:

Yeah integration has been discontinued for new Sprint numbers. I thought you weren't able to get GV working at all. Call forwarding is the way everybody else has to do it, I think aside from grandfathered in Sprint users, and CF was the only way I was trying. For a minute there I was stuck having to dial my Sprint number and listen to VM. Uh no. Just wanted what I had before transferring to Sprint, and now I do.
