Has anyone tried adding a paid line through Sam's, Best Buy or another retailer to participate in a promo? I'd like to do the Samsung S7 deal at Sam's, but I don't know if adding a paid line will screw with my free lines. Once I see the terms and if the terms allow it, I intend to cancel the paid line once I pay off the phone. Called the 866 number to ask whether adding a paid line would affect the free ones and they said it wouldn't, but I'd like to hear whether anyone has actually done it. TIA

I tried to get this deal but somehow the first line created the associate have it setup as the unlimited -promo $90. Called them and they said they would fix them but never took action.
The latest call a lady said my phone is from the verizon/att/tmobile and phone number is from freedompop so not eligible for this promotion. Anyone has the same experience? How to fix it ? or only thing I could do is to cancel these lines before 14 days?

The phone reps told me they were required to add it at the time of the port but to just call back to cancel it on all the lines.
Here was the dialogue I had with them.
Rep: "I am going to add the Equipment Protection Plan but you can cancel it later"
Me: "I do not want it and if you add it I am going to call immediately after this phone call and remove it."
Rep: OK in that case I will not add it.

Just want to share my two cents about my experience swapping devices on Sprint.
I'm trying to swap my current android to a new iPhone. At first, I thought I need a new sim card so I got one from my local Sprint store. The store cannot do the swap even though they have the ability to, but if they do, I will lost my free plan.
So I had a chat on sprint website. I provided them with my new iPhone IMEI, my old SIM card number from the android phone - chatted with them for about 5 mins and I am now able to use the sim card from my android phone with my new iPhone.
Just FYI you may not need a new sim card if you're trying to do the swap/

I had same dialogue on the 12 month BYOD plan.

Does anyone know if an Account Manager on VZW can port a number out to their own name on Sprint?

Essentially I am the only line left on my Verizon account which has my mother listed as the Account Owner. If I start the process for Sprint, will they let me port? Or do I have to transfer ownership to myself THEN port?

I plan on giving Sprint a call, just thought someone may have done this process already.

edit: chatted with sprint and they don't know their head from their a*s, so input is welcome
As long as the account is eligible to port and you have the name of the account owner and their PIN number, Sprint will do it for you. I ported a family member's Ting account to my account with no problem, you just need their account details.

I switched my 5 paid Sprint lines to h20. I have recharged 2 numbers that I use daily. Do I have to recharge all 5 lines and do I need to wait 5 business days to port back to Sprint? Thanks!

Has anyone successfully tried to have Sprint reconsider the AA signup bonus? I know that now they won't do it for people who just recently signed up but for those who signed up back in June/July like me did not saw those exclusions on the promotion page...

I am planning to call them about this but I am wondering if anyone here was able to do this and was successful in getting them to reconsider and reward you the 20k miles (plus the 5k miles later)? Hopefully we get some more data points!

You got it correct. I bought it from Target. Repped. I think this info should be added to wiki to help others.
btw I bought the iphone 7 from Target while there was BOGO offer from ATT with $300 on each phone. Hope the sprint works fine in my area.
If you bought from Target, most likely an unlocked version. Double check if it a A1778. If it is, you won't be able to use on Sprint CDMA, because it's an Intel modem. The A1660 has a Qualcomm modem for CDMA.

Use the Boyd imei checker on tello - if it shows phone is eligible, then you should be good. T-Mobile iPhone 6 ported successfully so it does not matter, Verizon is just an example.
The iPhone 7 and 8 matters. AT&T and T-Mobile model has an Intel modem that is GSM/LTE only. The Verizon and Sprint model has a Qualcomm modem for CDMA/GSM/LTE.

Anyone added an additional line recently and what is your promotion end date?

Is it same as the starting first line or does it change to a new later expiration date?

Both my two lines expiration is 07/31/2018. I am hoping if i add another line it can help extend the first 2 lines to 10/31/2018 as shown in the new fine prints.

I have also order a Sprint Moto E4 upgrade for 18 months lease at $0/mth after monthly credit. As seen in my other post (thumbs down by many), if the promo date is further, I will save some money on the Moto E4 if I decide not to continue with Sprint.
