Definitely more power to you if you can get it, but I went through something similar with selecting Premium International Experience. You can select it on the Dashboard, and it says it is added, but the next day it will not be there. I did the same for 2 days in a row. Each time, it says "succesfully added". But it never actually appears on your plan. I opened tickets and chatted and eventually they said it is not available on this plan and they just cancel it if you add it.

I think you will find the same thing is true of the Tidal 6-month trial (unless you can work your way around it as you say).

In fact the Sprint web page for this offer says "may not be combined with other offers...including Premium International Experience."

So are they liable for having the option(s) listed on the dashboard (which I guess is shared beween multiple plans), and even confirming success if you select them, but then cancelling them the next day if you do select them on this plan? Is this misleading advertising? I think potentially so,and one could complain to the FCC or FTC, but I decided not to pursue it as I doubt they will ever give in. They might in your case because the Tidal trial does not cost them very much. I doubt they would for Premium Intl Experience because paying their international partners for free 4G roaming could cost them a lot.

But if you can get it on by one means or another, great!

After reading through these pages, ordering my SIM cards for two lines, REreading the thread, and being looped and relooked through activation- are my CRICKET lines ineligible or am I doing something else wrong? I've called the 777 number and the guy wanted to help me apply ??

My Sprint version moto e4 stopped receiving lte data a few days ago. It will still call and text. The lte signal meter has a little x in it. The signal under settings says its connected. I had no problems since the end of September until now. I wonder what happened? Call into sprint was not much help. They say to go to the store for troubleshooting. Could it be because the phone is not unlocked?

My experience with Sprint is horrible. Even if their service is improved and this is an real unbeatable deal, they will still be overwhelmed with thousands of new customers.
you sound like you left them with an unpaid bill (like many do because of their crappy past billing practices) and now you cna't get an acct in your name. just use someone elses name.

i used an old kyocera phone and streamed audio deep into md rural eastern sure and it never lost data. i'm impressed.

Do I need a working phone to signup for this free BYOD plan? I have a broken iphone6. It's imei passes sprint checker. I have a spare sprint sim; so I plan on calling telesale to signup. I'm just wondering if I need to turn on the phone in order to activate the line. I will swap in a different phone at a later time.

Beware, SPRINT is a big fraud. Don't fall for it.

I switched to Sprint from T-mobile in the month of June. They said that I can upgrade to a new phone after 4 months. I went to Sams club yesterday as they had one day sale and were offering $300 gift card on any iPhone. Sprint didn't allow me to upgrade and said that I cannot keep the same free rate plan if I were to upgrade. They told me that I will have to switch to the $65 per month unlimited plan if I want to upgrade. I had heated arguments with multiple customer service agents and wasted the whole day & gave up. I am waiting for my 1 year of free service to end. I will switch back the next day.

Once again, this offer is a big fraud.

Somebody rightly said in the comments that "Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service."

You need to upgrade directly from Sprint website or call telesales number in wiki -- you can't go to Sprint stores or 3rd party retailers

Stop before you conclude anything. You signed up in June and still you did not know basic reqmt of upgrade. You are responsible. On this thread multiple times it was said line will be upgrade eligible only directly from sprint and not from any third party website or store like Bestbuy

I have had the free plan about a month. My first months payment has already been deducted from my credit card. However, my phone is showing as upgradeable in MySprint. I would like to order the Essential. SInce I've already had my first Month's Bill deducted, and it's clearly showing upgradeable, does it seem my free plan will be safe? I went all the way to the payment screen, and it is letting me upgrade. Or, alternatively, should I chat CS right before I press the "Complete Order" button and specifically ask if this will change my free plan? If they verify, and I save the chat, should I be safe?

Don't do it if you value your free plan and just become another statistic.

So I should add a paid line to my Free BYOD? What is the cheapest service (since I'll likely have to pay 1 month). Can I do that online?

Anyone successfully upgrade through the Apple Upgrade Program without losing the free year? I switched to Sprint in Sept., so I am not eligible to upgrade yet. However, on the apple website last step, it shows I have the $5/month voice plan and I will keep the plan. Is it safe for me to continue the payment?

Experts,

So I have this plan with 5 lines of service and have had it since July.

I bought and already picked up an iPhone X from Apple paid in full. It's unlocked, as well.

Anyone know if I'll lose this plan if I activate this phone for an existing line of service in my account? Obviously, I want to keep this plan with my new phone.

Sprint reps said I won't lose the plan but I want to make sure before I make any moves.

Thanks in advance.
