I can add a second BYOD free one year anytime? Will the year start from time I add it or my first line remaining time?

Unfortunately it will end according to the original line end date.

All lines end on that date no matter when added.

Got it! So final question when adding a line let's say after 120 days when I can upgrade, do I have to trade in my original phone (pixel) to buy/lease new Sprint phone for the new 2nd line or I can just get a new Sprint phone and use it with the free for a year second line ?

So that means even if this offer ends say tomorrow, as long as I have one BYOD line activated, this means I can add a new BYOD line two months from now (I understand the end date would be the same as the first line's). Thanks.

So I had one BYOD-free line, and then ordered two Essential phones on the $45 plan. I haven't even receved them yet, so I'm yet to activate them, but Sprint called me and said I can't have both the BYOD-free and the paid plans on the same account. They told me to call back after receiving their phones.

Anyone else experience this?

Posted in the Essential thread as well.

Any update? Did you get to keep your free BYOD line?
Yes, I did! Sprint kept calling me twice a day, and I simply ignored it and went ahead and got the Essentials activated online like everyone else here. Then, I answered their call, and the guy offered to activate the two lines for me, and I simply said they were already activated, and we hung up. My guess is, he was trying to get a commission of some sort.

My unlocked Moto E4 passed eligible test. But when I tried to sign up over the phone, the phone number to be transferred is revealed to use Sprint MVNO (Tello) and can not be transferred. I am going to transfer it first to ATT prepaid $0.25/min plan and then port-in Sprint. I see a few lucky people were able to directly port-in from Tello.

Still dealing with them. Spending hours of wasted time going in circles. They finally said I have to pay off my balance on my other account even though it will be credited back next billing cycle in order to create a new account. So I did, and then once the payment was processed they disconnected me and back to ground zero, and out $111 bucks that I will probably have to fight for next month to get credited back to a closed account
