I would also like to know if its possible ?

On chat the agent told me that I should not be an active Sprint Customer for at least 45 days prior

yes possible very much.. i signed up to sprint on 11/20 for the LG g6 phone deal. cancelled the line on 11/29 and signed up for BYOD on the very same day. using their byod line now with the same LG device and sim card that came in that LG device.

Will MetroPCS iPhone SE unlocked work on Sprint postpaid? It is not Virgin or Boost.

Did they give the credit after it was billed ? Or when it just appeared as a an account add on?
I didn't get credit until I asked chat for credit, and the credit showed up in my account about an hour after I asked. Spending Limit Program Charge $7.99 was not supposed to be billed because free BYOD has autopay and ebill.

why not go through Sprint web site to see if it's eligibility ?
this is only way to validate the eligibility

Because I don't want to buy and wait 3 months and then find out it is not eligible.

You can get the phone's IMEI immediately after purchased the phone , to validate from Sprint website.
This is an only reliable option, no others.
anyway, after three months, the BYOD deal would be possible expired by then

I am currently on Metro PCS with a phone that is not eligible.
I'd like to buy a Metro PCS E4 on ebay -- would this work?
And do I then need to have that phone unlocked via one of those 3rd party unlocking sites?
Thanks for the help
Nope, won't

It should be eligible, but is missing Spark lte band 41 for data speed.

I called telesales and they said I could even do the free promotion despite having an open Flex Lease (paid off) account if I ported my T-Mobile number. Should get the SIM in the next day or two.

My only concern is that it's now showing up as just a second line on my 5 line "Unlimited Freedom" plan, so I think I may be screwed...
