Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Cool, thanks much. My social is 6 months in the free byod. I still have the wife's ssn on a paid account. Wondering how long does it take for Sprint to consider your closed account (social security number) as a new account/eligible again.

45 days.
However often the account is left open but inactive and that does not count toward the 45 days so after you close it, call back and tell them you want to be able to open a new account in 45 days and they will make sure the clock is ticking. Otherwise if you wait until 45 days to confirm it is fully closed, they may tell you it will take another 45 days.

Can I move my line to my wife's BYOD account from my BYOD account? My wife's account was opened 4 moths latter so, I want to take advantage of another 4 months if my line gets moved over to her account. Anyone tried this? Worth calling sprint?

The online checker will show device and phone number eligible very soon. I ported to T-Mobile prepaid and was passing the online eligibility check within 30 minutes

Don't know how I missed this thread for so long. Anyhow, I hope someone can help me get on this plan by answering my questions.

I am currently on Total wireless (prepaid), and have 2-lines. Don't want to port any of these lines, but rather open a new line. Am I eligible for this promo?

Second, I have a Verizon iPhone 5 (unlocked). Can I use this phone on this plan or not? Wiki doesn't list iPhone 5, but iPhone 5c, 5s are eligible.

TIA>

You have to port in a number. But you can get a Google Voice one free and and port it out to Sprint for $3.

The Vzw iphone 5 would theoretically work on Sprint but they are not going to be willing to add it to their database unless you are best friends with a Sprint store manager. You can try the IMEI in their checker but it will come back as a No.

Thanks. Google Voice is a good suggestion, didn't think about it.

I checked VZW iPhone5 on the link, and as you said, it came as No. I will try to buy another phone on CL.

Has anyone successfully activated a feature phone on this promotion? I have a backup feature phone that I use on T-Mobile and would love to switch to save the monthly charges.

Yes you can activate a Sprint postpaid feature phone - I did - a Dura XT - but it is very unlikely that any non-Sprint feature phone would be accepted or could work because of band issues.

Sure. By the way Sprint prepaid / Boost / Virgin phones are not allowed on postpaid generally. So if it is a Sprint phone it needs to be a Sprint postpaid model.
