Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Good deal Desi... You able to get in the free byod again plus you got to spend a nice vacation with family in Vegas. Hope did not lose all the money that you saved from your annual phone bill! Happy New Year! And repped!
i dont think i was the first to so that..i think there are at least a few others that have done so.

re vegas:
wife was planning a trip to cancun (coming on the heels of a trip to hawaii in summer). while i was not interested in cancun (mostly due to cost and another "beach vaca"), i agreed (as usual). (un /) fortunately the trip did not happen (due to many reasons that are not important).

in the end vegas, grand canyon was consolation prize.
so...even if i had lost $1000..id still come out ahead

to sum:
we (wife, kids, me) all had a great time.
and i did win ~$250 all on black jack tables...
best casino was hooters (free parking) where i made ~$200..with the wife standing right beside me...her eyes sharply focused on my eyes
went to hooters every night for a few hours in evening

H N Y to u too Khan (as well as all my SD friends)

I'm using my pixel 2 with this offer so it should. Got my sim free from an apple store too so it's a pretty slick deal.

To Nexus 6 owners: what Sim card did you use in it? I tried using the Sim that came with the essential phone but it didn't work. I am trying to figure out what exactly type to purchase it.

https://help.ting.com/hc/en-us/ar...r-SIM-Card
says either
SIMGLW446C
or
SIMOLW506TC

is good. But hopefully some Nexus 6 users will post if you prefer that.

Anybody have any luck with getting an iPhone SE to work. I have an iPhone SE from cricket wireless unlocked. Device imei was shown to be eligible for BYOD. After I ported over I get no signal service. The phone gets signal for about 20 seconds (after a restart) but then goes to no service. Sprint tech online and in store can't figure it out either. They said the the phone imei is valid and is activated so I should be getting service. We aslo tried another sim card but no help.

If your phone does not activate, try the steps below, in order, and test your services after each step.
Reset Subscriber Settings (Carrier Reset)
Go to dial pad as though you're about to dial a phone number
Enter # # 25327 #
Tap Call
A "Reset Subscriber Settings" message will appear - tap OK
Wait 5-10 seconds; the signal notification will display "Searching" on the top left of the screen
When the phone shows a signal again, the phone is ready to use

Then
Service Update (Profile & PRL Update)
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
Tap the phone app
Dial # # 873283 #
Tap Call
"Starting Service Update" message will appear - tap OK
If update is successful "Service Update Complete" message will appear after about a minute - tap OK

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately I have tried this with online tech, store rep, and myself. After each step it goes from no service to Sprint. After 20 seconds it goes back to no service.

Besides edog11's suggestions, which are good, I would get the Apple GSX report for 99 cents on EBay to verify that it really is fully unlocked.

The phone is unlocked. I bought new from cricket and requested the unlock myself. A day later when connected to pc iTunes I get the "congratulations your phone is now unlocked" message. I tried service with both T-Mobile and AT&T with no problem. Also the Sprint tech verified the phone is unlocked and eligible for BYOD. We can physically see the phone's imei, sim id, and phone number paired on my Sprint account and active. Only problem is no service.

OK. Have you checked that the ICCID shown in Settings in the phone is the same as the ICCID shown on your account online?
