Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Anyone know where I can get a place holder imei so that I can activate this unlocked Motorola e4. Their system is reading it as a Motorola e4 Locked to Verizon but I unlocked it. I confirmed it working because it works on T-Mobile but just need a imei to go through the process. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can try but in general you cannot swap in a new device on Sprint without explicitly activating the new IMEI which will likely also fail.

You would probably have to get the IMEI whitelisted in the database by a store manager or senior technical person in Sprint which is not easy especially where they can figure out it was just bought locked..

That is not a problem since you have the acct# and password.
Thanks again. Sorry for badgering, but 2 more Q's:
1. Is $5 autopay discount per line or per acct?
2. Can someone purchase an eligible device and port # to that device. (I would think Sprint cares about the # rather than the device used on prior carrier).
Please tell me if these are answered on the wiki as I may have missed it.

1.Per line.
2. Yes you can do that and that is normal. You port the number in. You activate a device (any eligible device). They do not have to be associated previously. However make sure the particular phone qualifies. Best ask here explicitly or search here. Some might appear to but actually not. Any postpaid free and clear Sprint phone also qualifies but not if you are buying it under a Sprint offer since offers cannot be combined (more exactly, cannot except with gymnastics).

Nice. Thanks. Right. Got my eye on E4 for other family members who wish to try it out. It seems to be the cheapest option w/Amazon ads. I read the wiki part where it mentions that the E4 needs a really special sim. But I'm getting ahead of myself here, not sure if family wants to follow.

Do an online chat and they will send the service update to your phone. I think the term is Provisioning and then right after that my phone did a PRL update. Everything has been working fine since then.
Nothing helping..chat/phone rep. They have tried multiple things, but with no luck. Someone is supposed to call me back in an hour with an update, hopefully they will follow through.

Is the sim the recommended sim part for that device and does the ICCID match between phone and system
What is the phone model and what is the sim part number?

Everything is working fine now.

Even though we tried resetting network settings and doing Service Update (Profile & PRL Update), somehow old profile was still saved on iPhone. Once, I deleted that, data started working. Sprint reps were not able to help, just kept on asking me to try same things over and over.

I am in 95630, and speed is not good, only 5.8 MB d/l and 0.8 MB for u/l. Total wireless is giving over 30 MB.
