Definitely due to the questions. Unfortunately your only option at this point is another SSN.

Sorry to hear that. My credit is stellar also, and I'm familiar with those kinds of verifications questions (I think), but I'm used to seeing them written out, not read to me. I'm guessing the are something like: At which of these addresses did you used to live? And they give you a mulitple choice of about 5. What do you think happened that caused you to miss one of the questions, if you don't mind my asking?

Also, since they didn't approve you, I presume your number is still with your old carrier?

Per this site https://www.google.com/googlevoice/sprint/ I should be able to create a GV. I wasn't able to. Created a GV # and linked my Sprint #. Went to the legacy page and clicked on "check eligibility for Sprint integration" Next to my Sprint # and couldn't activate it. Both Google (surprisingly) and Sprint were unhelpful. What can I do?
I read somewhere that it may take a billing cycle for the integration option to become available like that, after a switch in service.

But you don't even need this integration - Sprint is the only carrier that supports it, anyway, and I've never used it. You can still use Google Voice without it. Install the Google Voice app on your phone and you can make outgoing calls with the phone's regular dialer with your GV number. The only weird thing is that calls get routed through Google's phone exchanges (this allows them to set your phone number as the caller ID number the other person sees). And you must have WiFi or data enabled briefly for the call to be initiated. Once the call starts, no data is needed. Not sure if the Sprint direct integration eliminates that, but it has never seemed like a big deal to me.

The only other gotcha could be that sometimes calls not answered will go to Sprint VM and sometimes to Google VM (usually to Google VM, not always in my experience).

That makes no sense. The verification questions are used only as an easy way to verify your identity, not to verify your credit. No one would be expected to remember every answer to every question. If you forget an answer or get it wrong, then they'd need to take more detailed and perhaps invasive steps to verify your identity, not make you wait 60 days and try again.

I suspect you were denied for another reason, not simply because you got a question wrong.

I finally got my wife's line ported over. They tried to stick me with a $13/month insurance charge but I insisted I didn't want it. Ill have to look at my account and make sure I wasn't charged.

They also told me they were sending me a free LG 8" tab. Then casually tried to say it would cost me $25/month for a data plan for it. I told them I'd take it if I could just use it on Wi-Fi for free but no go. Anyway, speed is good here at my home. 27 down and 12 up. That's better than my Verizon and obviously better than cricket.
That's good for inside the house. I haven't switched yet, but I'm supposedly in their best type of area. I currently get weaker service on my mintsim (2 to 3 bars) and only get about 12 down inside the house. However, I was getting 20 down where I lived before, which was only a few miles away and in the same zip code. I recently was outside and got a steady 5 bars so I tested it and actually got over 90 down. It went off the scale on speetest.net. I was shocked.

I ported 5 lines and just noticed that they added 13$ insurance on one line even though i specifically declined insurance.I was on chat working to get this insurance charge removed from the account. Check your account to make sure the insurance have not been added.

Wow thanks. Upon reading this I searched Sprint's tos, website, and even Google's voice website. Couldn't find anything relevant. Google voice sprint website still exists. I've contacted Sprint CS who assured me that it should be able to work. Something smells fishy here 🎏

I guess I'll keep trying. I am really looking forward to using GV since I do not have wifi calling. I've never used GV before because I thought it was unnecessarily complicated....turns out it is ...

Correct- it has nothing to do with credit rating. It has to do with proving you are the person you say you are.
If you answer the personal history quiz "wrong" (according to the records of the identity service which are often flawed) they think you may be who you say.

If you cannot get anywhere trying one more time, you can contact

You can use Google Voice fine. Just do it the regular way as documented on the Google Voice site.
You are attempting to do it using an obscure feaure called "Sprint Google Voice Integration" which had problems, is no longer recommended and is being phased out, as noted by other posters.

Just do not check "check eligibility for Sprint integration" when setting it up. That is what created the problem. You do not need that and it is an obsolete approach. No other carrier had this form of integration and it had issues when used with VoLTE etc.

However Google Voice itself in any form creates issues and I dumped it after using it for many years. For example, some banks and Uber reject your number if it is a Google Voice number. And it can add latency and interfere with VoLTE.

Here is another poster that may help, but looks like sprint-gv doesn't work with new customer.

Hi, I am very late on this, can someone tell me whether port-in from postpaid carrier is required? From what I read, the answer is yes? My company pays for my phone/plan, I am just thinking about getting a backup plan since I happen to have another phone around.
